2023-08-22 16:56:54 +0000 UTCSo we did see Bo in the first 2 episodes of Season 4 of Rebels. It's when they went back to save Sabine's Father and defeated the Imperial Mandalorians on Mandalore and Sabine gave Bo the Darksaber.

They told everyone except the absolutely essential cast and crew that it was going to be Luke. There's an interview with Katie Sackhoff saying she didn't know it was Luke until she actually watched the show. They were telling everyone that it was going to be Plo or possibly another jedi. Obviously Zeb isn't the level of Luke but he's another example of someone that no one knew/expected to come. Cad Bane in BoBF too, they've done a great job with these live action shows keeping cameos under wraps

2023-08-22 04:10:31 +0000 UTCYou don't have face blindness, you have ship blindness lol xD When we first watched this my sister said the same thing about the tinsel pirate. I can't unsee it now. I love seeing Mandalorians in action. I really enjoyed this season even while people were complaining about it. Except for maybe the Dr. Pershing episode, which was way too long I think. I feel like coming off of the "Big Moments" from season two led people to just want big moment after big moment (ahsoka cameo, luke, etc), but it's nice to have it be less that and more cultural almost. Seeing all the covert stuff, all the varying Mandalorian lore, them BEING AWESOME mandalorians together is amazing. I love that sort of stuff. My theory is they had Zeb's cameo here to introduce him for maybe Ahsoka, since Ahsoka is basically Rebels Season 5. They did him so well. I hadn't realized he had fur from his animation, I thought the marks on his arms and legs were just markings lol. But it makes sense since the Lasat design was the original Wookie design... and wookies are furry.
