I think my favorite moment was your eyes and the gleeful chuckle when Striker tells Logan his country needs him. “I’m Canadian.” That was a laugh out loud moment for me, for sure. I like the first half, right up until he gets the Adamantium. It kind of falls apart in the second half for me. Heck, I would have watched a movie of just the timeframe we cover during the opening credits. This movie really demonstrates that Fox did not have a plan for this movie series. Victor Creed is actually Sabretooth, the big growling guy in the first X-Men movie. And they just ignore everything about the character from decades of storytelling. Twice. The two characters in the movies have nothing in common with each other or the comic. So yes, continuity is out the window. It wasn’t clear but Gambit’s power is he can change potential energy into kinetic energy, so he can charge any object with explosive energy. He’s a big fan favorite. Glad you’re sticking with release order and by the time you get to the end, you’ll understand why it was important. And yes, please drop in your Deadpool rewatches. Your commentary is always appreciated and you will get references and moments you didn’t the first time with X-Men under your belt.

I will be, that's the release order.

You have to watch The Wolverine before watching Xmen Days of Future Past. You are far from done with Hugh Jackman.

Carl Johnson

Hey, another NOLA person. West Bank represent. Haha

I'm very excited to get to Logan because I haven't heard a single complaint about it. 😂

I wasn’t really a fan of any of the Wolverine solo movies except for Logan, which is probably one of the greatest comic book films of all time. However, I don’t hate them or anything. Just not really my cup of tea.

For me this movie is good for getting base info and background on Logan like around how old he is and how much he went through before we meet him in the Xmen movies. I also agree I like Gambit to bad he never got his movie he could be a fun character and we could get a true Rogue introduced with his movie no offense to the original rogue lol. Thanks to this movie and the horrible Deadpool take, its the reason we got the good Deadpool movies Ryan Reynolds pushed to do the character correctly.

Chris Elkins

This movie hurts my brain.

Steve Mercier

Fans almost unanimously hated this movie’s take on Deadpool, hence the wildly different and more faithful adaptation we’d get later.

Great reaction 😍😍😍 Wolverine brother was in one the x-men movies you already watched. Thanks for watching when they went to New Orleans you can see where I live when they was crossing the GNO bridge. GNO-Greater New Orleans

Perry Campbell

Oooof. Yeah, this one was…yeah. Anywho, it’s all part of the journey, and it’s a journey worth taking. 😉

I've not watched this one in a long while. Probably because overall it was a bit of a disappointment. It gets panned pretty readily. Now, one of the few reasons to see it, is so later references can be fully appreciated.
