Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. π Before I get into what's coming this week, I've decided on when my time off will be this summer: Aug 17 - 25. It's later than I originally thought it would be, but this works better in the end! We'll chat more about that as we get closer to.

I have finally entered my swimming era after a month of anxiety about actually doing it (literally all of June was a mess in my brain of working myself up to go and then never going). Why is it so hard to do something for the first time? π Anyway, I finally got my ass to the pool last Monday and ended up swimming 5km total last week! I am feeling SO GOOD about it. My mental health feels indestructible and my body feels great. I assume there are swimmers here in the community, so you'll understand how I feel. π

Ms. Marvel is my 3rd fav MCU show after Loki and Moon Knight, loved her character in the comics and Iman Vellani played her perfectly in the MCU, doesn't hurt the fact that she's a huge Ms. Marvel fan herself and she's Pakistani like her. This was her first acting gig ever, since she was still finishing up high school when she auditioned for this and got cast on her final day of HS. She's from Canada like a lot of MCU actors and actresses

Super relaxing if you're being chill, and if more for working out, it exercises a bunch of muscles in a lower stress environment than in a gym (often times, someone recovering from an injury will use swimming to help that along). Lately I've been getting interested in watching DCI (a top level, competitive group of marching bands). Never did band myself, but I had some friends back in high school who did, and I do have an appreciation for the music craft. It's really cool what these groups can do.
