Slowness and the August Pause
Added 2020-07-02 21:50:29 +0000 UTCI hate making updates like these making excuses but the truth is I think I'm in a bad place mentally so I apologize for the slowness that has plagued me recently. Its been tough getting through pieces as lately I feel unconfident in my ability to finish work. Its been a whole lot of sitting down to start, and then feeling totally disappointed with my output. Its obviously not true but me and my brain chemistry are clearly not on the same wavelength.
Im going to keep working through these commissions day by day and set some deadlines for myself so that these dont take forever but I just wanted to keep everyone aware since updates have been kind of skimp. If you've paid for work, its definitely coming. If I'm taking too long, I dont mind giving you a refund; just let me know.
I obviously have to prioritize my mental health here if i want to keep doing this; so I just thought I'd let you all know where I am right now if things seem a little off. If you've got any questions please feel free to reach out to me, and I promise I'm not blowing off your art if i take some time to sketch for myself. I've just gotta get my mind right.
Im still planning for the break in august but if Im not feeling any better it might extend, but we'll cross that road when we get there. (at the least, you'll get to save some money ;] )
