We sometimes hear of a discovery by say a research student based on fossil material that's been in a museum's vaults for years, decades. Is there any attempt to use modern technology to get as much information on these collections into some digital format that might allow more rapid analysis? And of course one thinks of the modern miracle of "AI" that might interpret this data.

How did dinosaurs and other life change from one era to another? But at a real high level. I know the details could last several human life times.

What are some examples of when her own knowledge and research as an educator and marketer suffice for understanding a sample?

How can these valuable sources of science/nature knowledge for the public spring back from this?"
