Poll! Changes to the Raven Dandy Tier

Good afternoon, Blackbirds! As I write to you, I am being snowed into my studio — wish me luck in my imposed hibernation!

I am here to share that in its first three months, the Merry Blackbird Postcard Society has grown beyond my wildest dreams, and so much faster than I anticipated. This is ✨wonderful✨ news, and I thank each and every one of you for being here.

One challenge that this has created is that I was forced to cap the Raven Dandy tier — as every Raven Dandy receives a hand written postcard from me, and I have only one fragile writing hand, which I also use to address many many envelopes, and even more importantly, to draw and draw and draw. Thusly, to save my most precious working tool from crumbling immediately into a dust, I am reworking the rewards for this highest tier.

From the March postcard delivery and onward, I will continue to exchange letters with Merry Blackbirds who write to me! If you send me a letter, I will delightedly send you something back, and am pleased to make penpals with whoever is interested.

However. ⭐️ From March onward, for the health of my hand, I will discontinue writing personal cards for every Raven Dandy delivery. Instead, I’ll be introducing a new reward for Raven Dandy members, in addition to their customary two duplicates of the Postcard of the Month: An exclusive bonus postcard included in this tier any not available anywhere else.

Members will be able to vote every month on which of two proposed artworks will be included as postcards in the next Raven Dandy delivery!

For March’s delivery, I have plucked two pieces for you to vote on: “Fyodora”, a portrait of a character from last year, and “Jack of All Suits”, a piece that I love from very deep in my archives!
