I think you guys got a little mixed up about Blood guy, Noritoshi. He’s not the same clan as Maki and Mai, he’s from the Kamo clan. He was also commenting on how Mai should have inherited the cursed technique that Megumi has with his shadow shikigami, since she has cursed energy and is accepted by the Zenin clan more than her twin. It’s a very subtle but a VERY important mention of Megumi’s familial connections. Also the Kamo clan and the Zenin clan are going to be important going forward and in season 2!
