He stood against racism in the country, actively promoting and pushing desegregation by using the process in government run facilities as the example to other groups. He actively undermined Mccarthy behind the scenes to weaken him and discredit his witchhunts (a man who was part of the same party as him). Most importantly in my mind he was one of the first, and by far the most prominent at the time, to take a stand against the Military Industrial Complex. It's amazing how prescient his warning was of what was to come. More than just this one show i think this could be the beginning of a new series reviewing some of the countries greatest, or worst, Presidents in our history. I would venture to guess the majority of your audience might not be the most educated, this type of programming would bring knowledge to your base with your brand of humor to season it for them. Ike's grand daughter recent wrote a book on him called "How Ike Led", I think it would help with the research if you guys take this one up. I posted this on both, hope that's ok
