2021-08-12 05:45:13 +0000 UTCThanks for this ep, I never really "got" Basquiat's work and always felt like a philistine for it but this helped contextualize it. The art style isn't for me but I like the whole story behind it/Basquiat himself. I also see why rapper Mach Hommy recently used a piece as his album cover, he is defs the rap version of Basquiat(selling limited run albums for hundreds of dollars etc)
