You have to try to argue that growth is an intrinsic good that is well worth that suffering, (including all the suffering we see in animal world and shit), but this goober would never put forth the effort nessicary for that, and even if he did, it would still probably be a bad argument. Why couldn't god just provide us the benifits of growth without the evil of suffering?
