I think there's a difficult balance for any artist or entertainer between what they want to do and what an established audience expects from them over time. I think that you have to go with what you want to do. I also think that sometimes entertainers find themselves going down a path that might be in conflict with what is best for them. And sure, you might lose a few so-called fans because of it. But you know what? Those people don't really care about you. They don't care about how the negative performance style, AKA salty Paul, is detrimental to your mental and physical well-being. I think the people who are really your fans appreciate you and are also concerned about your well-being. I know I certainly am. And sure, you could tap into that side of yourself when you feel like it's the time to do it. That being said, it doesn't need to be the sole aspect of your performances.

2025-06-13 01:12:08 +0000 UTCDon't remember if the watch conversation was in this episode or the last, I'm high and sleep deprived. But I'd suggest giving it a go with a microscope. Have to solder devices basically the size of a grain of sand at work. Before looking under the microscope, it was hard to figure out why I wasn't getting good connections. Turns out, there are a lot of little muscles you basically never use in your hands. Was shaking like a Parkinson's patient when I got a good look. After practicing while learning better ways to hold/steady stuff (plus using clamps, forceps, etc) those muscles strengthened up. It's just reps like everything else. Practice is #1. Good to see you sticking with the health stuff, it's inspirational.

Quite frankly when Paul yells for several paragraphs at a time, it makes him sound (seem) worse than Vaush in comparison. The only Vaush interview that isn’t awkwardly contentious (for several minutes), is the first one when y’all were still trying to get on his good side because he was the new hot YouTuber. It was such a good conversation it made Paul have that National Labor Union concept right then and there which was cool to witness.
