All the brothers together to talk about TJ's moving woes and more!

I read online that filming for the resident evil tv show was pushed back by like 2 years and the younger actresses were originally supposed to be 14 instead of 16. I'm not sure if that would have worked better or worse(worse acting but better explains the illogical character actions) but thats a thing.

DFF, don’t flatter yourself too much, because I banged the following tirade out for a different channel months ago, but a nerd’s gotta’ nerd. p.s., I also know Paul is a secret “expanded universe” fan, as he just randomly dropped the term “trandoshan” many moons ago in a podcast. All Boba Fett did in the movies was stand around and look cool, so pretty much 99.99% of all content with him came from the formerly canon Expanded Universe, such as comics, novels, video games, encyclopedias, and so on. The character was popular with fans, so over the four decades (holy shit!!!) of his existence he became gradually more bad ass and competent, sorta like Batman, who since the 1940s went from a tough guy in tights to a hyper-intelligent peak of human perfection inside technologically advanced light-armor that is as impressive as Iron Man’s. As a huge fan of Fett, and as one of those dorks with a mandalorian skull tattoo on the arm, I didn’t hate the show, but it is totally and 100% a different character. Our Fett - never takes off his helmet, only ones to see his face are close allies, of which there are fewer than fingers on one hand. Helmet is instantly recognizable and terrifies anyone in close proximity. Show Fett - runs around almost the entire time with an exposed mug, and sort of a round and kind one. Our Fett - absolute badass who can take on force users in one on one combat, has more gadgets that the inspector of the same name. Brilliant strategist who thinks five moves ahead of opponents, always comes out on top. Grim, self-reliant individualist. Show Fett - gets his ass handed to him on a constant basis, recruits teenagers from the Jetsons, takes chances, makes mistakes and gets messy like Mrs Frizzle. Our Fett - capable of doing good deeds and has a moral compass, but generally for self-serving purposes and protection of reputation. Bumped around as a bounty hunter after the sarlacc incident, viciously killed at least one usurper, grew older, and rebuild the mandalorian order from scratch. Show Fett - Santa Claus in armor. Aimed to become a self-proclaimed crime lord, and in reality a local politician for a town and planet that in all canon were insignificant to him. Went full on Mr. Mackey with “Drugs are bad, mKay?…” Our Fett - escaped the sarlacc over a course of several days in a story of psychological body horror (“A barve like that”). Displayed cunning, and incredible determination to live, digging through meters of sand with broken limbs after causing the beast major exploding-jet pack-related indigestion. Was in a critical state and near death. Show Fett - casually digs his way out, a little slimy, but pretty much healthy enough to survive tusken slavery. Loses iconic armor like an idiot. A lot more can be said, but yeah, a lot of viewers were disappointed by how their fan-favorite was portrayed. I personally hope to see more of Boba in episodic roles, as his appearance in “The Mandalorian “ was a lot closer to the armored man we knew and loved.
