A Poll about stories
Added 2020-10-25 12:00:14 +0000 UTCI just wanted to ask you all, what do you think about this year stories that were out here in early-access and on deviantart? I mean everything that happend after Ascension
What do you think about quality of stories released this year? Everything when it comes to length, story itself, characters, clarity and other factors. If you are stisfied with how it is now, or you think some things could be changed of improved here.

I really like Celica's story but I was a huge fan or her picture packs. Second helping and a growing problem were great as well but ended too abruptly. I dont care much for the shared universe at this point, mostly because after AU there has been much progress lore wise. Personally I like stories that are growth first and story second. I'm primarily here for the growth so I like that there isnt a wall of text in the images.

2020-10-25 12:45:25 +0000 UTCThe issue I see is that the only MAIN characters are Molly, Ruby, Arya, Maya, and Zoey. And while we have a lot of new characters and old characters returning, they don't mean anything to the main storyline. Like I highly doubt we'll ever see Jess and Yukiko interact with any of those 5 mentioned above at least in a story capacity. Like I have the same issue of making hundreds of characters, but I try making them interact with one another as they share the same universe and for the most part the same city. But I think that's why most of the stories feel like filler. I dont expect Scarlet to have any effect on the plot, or Tris, or Cecilia so up to a point you wonder why so much time is put on them instead of the plot.

2020-10-25 12:29:12 +0000 UTCI agree on this. Most stories we had this year either introduced a new character or showed some known ones like Jess and Yuki but then just...didn't go anywhere. I like my lore, especially when it's with characters I love such as Molly and Ruby (and hopefully soon others like Callie and Scarlet too!) but the main reason other than lore and why we're all here I feel like, is the good old growth. Sure there was growth in some like J and Y's, but we had seen them bigger before and it felt like a random filler story without actual value to their growth. In Ruby's story this was different, Ruby has changed permanently and I love what you did to her so far. Bottom line is I'd say, longer stories with more and bigger growth that actually forwards the lore and on the side explains previous events.

2020-10-25 12:23:52 +0000 UTCGuess I'll just copy paste what I wrote in the other. I kind of feel like nothing has really happened grand scheme wise since Ultimatum. Like it's been more girls growing, but that's how it's always been but now it seems like there's even less of an explanation behind it. Not really a knock on you or captain but I also will admit that none of the new stories or characters have really grabbed me. It might be because everything feels like filler or maybe you just haven't hit that sweet spot I like with a story or characters yet. Like I enjoy Jess and Yukiko, but their new story seemed to just be random and it feels like there is no real plans with any of the girls in whatever the overall plot is meant to be in your universe.
