Instead, Iron Man 3 was directed by Shane Black, whose trademark is incorporating Christmas into his movies. Black has explained that “Christmas represents a little stutter in the march of days, a hush in which we have a chance to assess and retrospect our lives. I tend to think also that it just informs as a backdrop.”

I can say the actor playing The President is William Sadler. You'll know him from Bill and Ted, any of them. He played the Grim Reaper. He also starred in one of my personal faves, Tales From The Crypt presents Demon Knight. He plays Frank Brayker. It's a great cast. Billy Zane...yummmmmmy(he was also in Titanic and played the asshole fiancé, Cal, but this is him when I lost my mind over him), Jada Pinkett, CCH Pounder. It's cheesy in all the best ways.

Also I know some people are not a fan of this one but I love how human it makes Tony. To me that's why these films are timeless. The heros are not perfect They are flawed just like all of us but still do thier best to make the world better like we all should.

And he almost died during the battle. He knows that he’s supposed to be a protector; of his planet, his partner, his friends, etc. but if he’s facing threats like gods and aliens he’s questioning how he can keep the people he cares about safe. Basically it’s just severe ptsd
