to continue your OZ journey you should watch Return To Oz...it came out in the 80's and it's pretty dark but great!

When you said, "cuddling might be a little pokey," I immediately said, "all the best cuddling is" and cracked myself up way too much. Lol. I've been meaning to go see this in the theater, but this was the first time I'd seen this one. I was crying an embarrassing amount during "For Good" and then thought about Dorothy in the floor listening to them singing and thinking wtf. Hahaha. I had a feeling about the twist towards the end with the bottle, but I have never seen the play, so I wasn't sure if my hunch was correct (or if that was something they added only for the movie). But when I watched your reaction to the first one, it was the second time I had seen it, and the singing voice of the guy at the beginning of the movie sounded super familiar.
Also, please please please for your full concert reaction please please react to Prince's 1992 Live at Glam Slam show. It will be one of the best things you've ever seen ever (100% not being hyperbolic). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MG4N07AvyIrCcGby42meLKoZUDHW9arZ/view?usp=drive_link

I really enjoyed your reaction! You pay close attention and always seem to catch little details. I watched both movies in the theater, but like you I had never seen the musical so I didn't know all the twists that show up! I also liked the first movie a bit better, but I appreciate how cleverly the second one ties in to Wizard of Oz, and I did tear up when Glinda and Elphaba say goodbye.

This is the 3rd time I've seen it, and it keeps getting better!
You absolutely need to watch Wicked: One Wonderful Night! It's a concert with most of the cast doing songs from part 1, and a couple from For Good. It is so much fun!

I watched wicked for the first time when you released your reaction to it. Now I'm obsessed with it! This will be my first time watching this one as well.

My God, they did such a good job. Dorothy was never shown because of the copywrites that the '39 version sealed down. It's amazing how much they meticulously own the rights for the songs and images. They knew they had a hit on their hands. To me, that's impressive af.
