2024-06-11 01:16:10 +0000 UTCPlease make the musicals into individual playlists for each Musical. It would make it so much easier to find when I'm needing to catch up. I am so excited to see your reaction to this musical, I saw it a couple months ago live and it really is everything.

2024-05-18 19:44:59 +0000 UTCThis version is older, 4 years according to the YT video, however, in the 2021-2022 run of the show, the actress who played Katherine Howard, Samantha Pauly, is my cousin!!!

2024-05-18 17:23:54 +0000 UTCI know from your epic reactions that you’re a fan of the Percy Jackson series. Are you gonna maybe react to the lightning their musical one day for musical Mondays? That would be fun! Epic, hadestown, the lightning thief: the trifecta of Greek modern musicals lol

2024-05-10 19:25:32 +0000 UTCThe girl sang me to tears and back. Definitely one of the best performers out there. Completely agree that Mortius should at least watch the live version at some point. I can neither confirm or deny that there is a "slime tutorial" on YouTube that may coincidentally resemble a full recording of Broadway's Six. 🤫

2024-05-10 00:38:28 +0000 UTCFYI - Six does not have any profanity, so it will keep with your family friendly vibe. The writers said that since all of the leading ladies are queens, it is beneath their dignity to swear. There is dialogue in the show where there would be a swear (I don't think it's in any of the songs), but it's "bleeped" by a guitar riff. Also, each queen is based off of modern pop diva royalty from their song style to their costumes. No spoilers, but it may be fun for you to try and guess which queen matches which diva/divas.

2024-05-09 20:38:51 +0000 UTCThis musical (one of my favorites btw eek!) as others have said fits the episodic format. That said I'm not sure about other musicals as it might serve you better to do a couple songs together for Hades town and future projects depending on the flow and format of the production.

2024-05-09 15:07:47 +0000 UTCAll the songs are pretty different from each other both in tone and style so it would probably fit the ‘episodic’ format you’re going for to do one song at a time, but it might make a more cohesive experience to find and watch the connective tissue directly before and after each song. For example. The 3rd song of the official playlist is Don’t lose your head but there is like a 45 second joke song right before it called Anne Bolyne introducing Anne who will be singing that song

2024-05-09 14:53:47 +0000 UTCI've never heard of this musical before, maybe just because I don't live in an English-speaking country? No idea, but that was SO COOL! xD I couldn't make anything of the term 'Six' at all, so I was even more surprised when I found out during the song that it was about the wives of Henry VIII xD How cool!! Your reaction was awesome, it was so much fun watching you xD And I'm looking forward to more :D I already love Musical Monday!

2024-05-09 10:03:15 +0000 UTCThis had been amazing, love the enthusiasm ☺️ Re: questions: yes to a specific musical Mondays channel in the discord, one song per video sounds perfect for SIX, and the songs are enough to convey the story BUT most of them have a short introduction that's worth watching for historical context and/or extra queenfighting.

2024-05-09 10:01:14 +0000 UTCFor sure on Haus of Holbein, but I don't even know if he's ready for All You Wanna Do.

2024-05-09 09:06:31 +0000 UTCThe i between parts and the bit to end the song where there isn’t any singing and it flashes the faces of the women is a modern remix of the song “green sleeves” which was rumored to be written by King Henry for his second wife Anne Bolyn, hence her line “my sleeves may be green but my lipsticks red”

2024-05-09 08:26:01 +0000 UTCSix is more like a concert then a musical, it doesn't even have an interval. Is an amazing musical to watch live,, seen it twice. Each queen is styled song wise and some look wise to some modern pop stars , will be interesting to see if you can pick up who's. The musical led me to follow more about the history of the queens. My favourite queens are Anne Boylen and Katherine Howard. They also have quite sad stories, after Anne died ,Henry ordered that every portrait of her was destroyed, when they found her grave there wasn't much left (although they think there where some bits stolen) her grave had a lot of lime stone in it which can destroy bones. Katherine Howard was the youngest of the queens, it's presumed that she was anything between 18 and 20 when she was beheaded. If you get a chance to listen to the live version from new York I get chills at the end of her song. (Probably the hardest emotionally to listen to). There isn't much talking between there are a couple of very short songs that are on the live album, one introduces Anne Boylen and the other is a one line song by Anne called wearing yellow to a funeral.

2024-05-09 08:08:34 +0000 UTCCan’t wait to follow this journey as well! Since these animatics are older and there are fewer alternates, keep in mind that these don’t really have captions unfortunately. It might be best to pull up the lyrics on a separate area for the remaining songs. And you definitely aren’t ready for Haus of Holbein.

2024-05-09 06:50:32 +0000 UTCSix is actually like 95% musical and u can absolutely follow the story- there's barely any text between the songs. I would recommend watching the 'K Howard's roast' before the song 'all you wanna do' it's not very long and isn't technically THAT significant but it is incredibly fun. 'the Queen's fight' I also think you should listen which is right before the song 'I don't need your love'. You won't be completely lost if u don't listen to these small snippets but they show quite a bit of how the queen's interact with each other/their relationship! I recommend doing each song solo, you'll see why as u get into the musical. Great reaction and I'm so excited for u to watch six!

2024-05-09 05:55:38 +0000 UTCAs a fan of the songs & animatics of Six, I can say there's a very limited number of animatic options per most songs. Ex-Wives, uhhh Don't Lose Your Head(?), and I believe All You Wanna Do are the most popular songs (to my recollection, that might have changed) with the most animatic variety. Presuming I'm not ADHD misremembering my loop-playing specific animatics into multiple ones.

2024-05-09 05:32:30 +0000 UTCYes, musical Mondays and it starts with one of my favourite musicals. Can't wait to check it out once I have the time. Though I will say my favourite song from six is Don't Lose Your Head 😂
