Listened to more than all the rest and its #1... ... and though I cant draw or animate worth a dime, I might just attempt something when not writing my mythology reimaginings. 🫣 There is no name out does all my favorites in Epic.... ... and is the song having me considering adding Hades stuff to my ever growing plate of mythology reimaginings just to to write a scene to torture myself more than chapter 2 of the Book: The First Thread of the Waiting Queen series did me. [Yes this is 1st pov of Penelopes 20y for Odysseus I'm writing, that various people have probably seen me say I'm going to write. Don't read read it if you dont want chapter 2 to break your heart at the Farewell of Odysseus going off to war. I don't want want to be hurt for breaking someone's heart.... ... also if you see a family of 3 picture as my profile picture... that is Odysseus, Penelope and baby Telemachus in my book. And yes I needed to rant a moment for Penelope]

2025-03-20 23:42:39 +0000 UTCMyth fact for Persephone. Kore means "maiden" in Greek, so when Hades says "Maiden bring me the light", he was kind of also saying Kore's name/meaning. But her name was changed to Persephone when she became queen of the underworld and it means "Bringer of death/chaos". So Hades was asking her "Will you be my Persephone?"="Will you be my Bringer of death?"="Will you be my Queen of the underworld?" So we basically saw a proposal, wedding, and a legal name change all in the same song.

ALSO i think the spirits in ‘my persephone’ are achilles and patroclus, orpheus and eurydice, and hyacinthus (the one with the flower) hyacinthus was a prince deeply loved by apollo, and killed by a jealous zephyrus. in his death, apollo transformed him into a hyacinth flower
