It has been confirmed that there will be more shows, so I believe they just mean the story set in piltover and zaun will be ending before exploring more of runeterra. Would love to hear what nations and characters you'd be interested seeing in the next show too!

Ryze and his master Tyrus try to appeal for peace and claim the Runes for safe keeping, but war erupts that nearly destroys the world. its like the real world equivalent of hundreds of nuclear bombs, heimer dinger witnessed those events. Yordles like heimerdinger are immortal beings, and as you mentioned time flows differently in Bandle city, so their accounting of age is inconnsistent with the linear timeline of runeterra history- when they say how old they are, they are pretty much recounting how many years they've spent outside of Bandle city.

I know its a out of context title for this reaction "series" you are doing, but you can find no better video, where you get the Lore of entire Runeterra explained in that short period of time. Necrit said he doesent mind people reacting to it, so you good :)

2024-06-10 04:54:33 +0000 UTCI needed to clarify this before - the "Harrowings" are events where the undead travel out from the Shadow Isles. The sea witch seen in the first short would probably be a follower of the Nagakabouros, a great sea entity. Calling Corki "Heimerdinger" will never not leave me, hehe. They have similar epic mustaches! Renekton (Crocodile), Nasus (Anubis), and Azir (Emperor Horus lookin guy at the end) are the champions you see in the Empires of Ascended trailer. Targon's summit doubles as a portal to the Celestial Realm, where these very fantasical creatures reside. Aside from Leona and Diana, Aurelion Sol (big celestial dragon in the stars at the very end) is the only other champion seen in this cinematic. The other creatures you see are Legends of Runeterra cards and they are super pretty.

When Heimerdinger said he's 307 years old, he was actually born MUCH longer ago in Runeterra time, depending on how much of that he spent in Bandle city. The event that he keeps being reminded of that gets him so spooked of Hextech constantly, I think is supposed to be what's called the Rune Wars, which actually took place about 1000 years before arcane. It's just the one notorious event in Runeterra where magic really proved a threat to life on runeterra
