Ad-Free: Cop Gets Arrested After Doing the Unthinkable

It’s funny how talking is “impeding an investigation”. They don’t even know what they’re investigating exactly! If you’re trained in crisis management you would know that yelling back at people only escalates the situation. But lbh- the people being hired as cops don’t have a ton of emotional intelligence. I’ve also seen cops just tell people to stop kicking unless you want another charge! No effort made to de-escalate. I hope these officers families see this.

I feel like a good lawyer could’ve gotten the DUI dropped down to a non moving violation (that’s how a first time DUI charge in NYS is able to be reduced given you stay out of trouble for 1 year post conviction. I’m also surprised the case wasn’t thrown out in exchange to not sue the department/county.
