I know you don't want spoilers, but I thought that was pretty obvious, and it explains why everyone loves season 4, as S.H.I.E.L.D. becomes a cooking show, and everyone loves cooking shows.

2019-02-18 18:25:05 +0000 UTCDon’t know if you noticed the Christianity parallels between Jesus and Lincoln. All season they called Hive the devil. The devil was defeated by Jesus sacrificing himself for our sins. Lincoln sacrificed himself for the team’s sins to beat Hive. There was even a cross.
