It was weird to have the wife scenes mixed in with Frank being tortured but if you step back to think about it makes sense, Frank is depressed and suicidal if you haven’t noticed lol he gets pleasure when he kills anyone he even said in a past episode & in Daredevil he enjoys it. & I liked how the wife stuff was also a flash back to the morning before his wife and kids died from the dialogue said

2022-06-25 03:53:52 +0000 UTCImo the “sex” scenes are him wanting death. They are definitely weird but it’s him wanting to be with his wife again and be reunited in death. Then they play the actual conversation that was playing at the beginning of the series. In the new version, she asks him where home is. From here on, this is just my interpretation. When she asks him where is home, it’s the actual conversation but it’s also her asking him if he is sure he wants to die. In this case, home being death. He says “home is here, with you” aka dead. He’s convincing himself he is done on earth and he is ready to die. Then obviously she has him choose dying to end his pain and his war. But in the end, the war and the pain is his home. Love this scene and the background music “Frank’s Choice” is the best pieces in the series and one of the best in the Netflix shows
