Honestly, I think the effects look better back then than it does today. It actually looked realistic, and maybe that's because of the acting they doing with it. I don't know. Effects today though, you can definitely tell when something isn't real. Hell people are pointing it out all the time, and the acting is downhill too, because people today always have to add unnecessary comedy to a bad situation by breaking the 4th wall. People probably feel this show has bad acting for it's time, but to be honest it has the right type of acting, because of how campy it is at times, but when it's serious then you actually see the talent everyone has in the dark moments, and hell even the campy lighthearted moments, because some of them actually make you smile
