Grimm S05E13 - Silence Of The Slams FULL REACTION

A lot of wrestling stuff, a little bit of election aftermath. Throw in a zombie apocalypse and it's Shan's best episode ever. I agree that was a lackluster episode. I'm not a fan of wrestling, either.

I agree. That was boring. The monster of the week format was okay early on, when they were still fleshing out the world and Nick was learning about being a Grimm. But by this point it was pretty tedious, and I say that as someone who binged Grimm over a couple of weeks.

You know, something that never occurred to me, I don’t think its intentional but when they talked about the seven Grimm Knights that buried The Stick. If you count Trubel and Eve, Nick has seven “Knights” along with himself. Nick, Hank, Monroe, Rosalee, Wu, Trubel and Eve. So Shan has friends into Libre Sexo….hey…whatever does it for you, as long as it’s safe, sane and consensual. No worse than Furries. Latex fans or Leather kink. In fact, in this case, its all three. That mask looked like it had all those. So Nick and Adalind back to keeping secrets, Nick lying about The Stick, Adalind about her getting her Hexenbiest back. Uh oh, it’s the dreaded Blue TeeTurtle. You done it now Grimm writers! You must now battle Macho Shan-o, the Thunder From Down Under. jk (I saw this coming. I knew this episode was going to be a sleeper.) I won’t talk about the MoW part as you didn’t like it. To be honest after the really good episodes we’ve been having, this one struck me as boring too. OK, now Eve has figured out that the Red Head is working with Black Claw and is doing it to help Renard. Renard seems to except that the red head had that guy killed to advance him to a political position. Is he back sliding to his old ways when he used Adalind to have Nick’s Aunt killed? I do like that we once again saw Nick writing in the books about what he learned, we haven’t seen that in a while. Now Renard is talking to Adalind and telling her he might be able to find her daughter.
