Again, I love how the detective keeps helping Jessica while at same time worries about her. Seems like a good guy and a good police officer. Too many times these Netflix Marvel shows have made the police seem all corrupt, lazy or inept. Ok, if I were Jessica, I would have IMMEDIATELY gone to someplace to shower for 3 hours to wash all that dead body part water off me. Yuck! Yeah, the window thing should have been obvious to Trish. Hearing Trish talk to her mom got me thinking. I think I get, just a little, why she doesn’t get Jessica being so upset over Trish killing her mother. Trish’s mom was a monster to her every day of her life. Some part, deep down subconsciously, might feel that to that monster removed would be a relief. Then seeing Jessica’s mom, a crazed killer at times, often out of control. She deep down can’t get Jessica not feeling the same way. What Trish doesn’t get is For most of Jessica’s life, her mom was a good person. While Jessica knows what her mom has become, she still hopes for the return of her gentle mother. Trish also never saw the love and caring that Jessic’a mom had all the way up to the end for Jessica. While Trish’s mom does love her daughter she still uses her for her own benefit and Trish knows this. Jessica’s mom was willing to sacrifice everything for Jessica, Trish didn’t understand this. It was almost like the episode answered you. “I find it hard to believe Danny would leave Hogarth”. Episode … “Danny Rand is on sabbatical, his board voted yesterday”. Lol As soon as the caught the killer this early in the season I figured there would be some kind of legal drama or escape. I liked the episode. Not my favorite, but a good one for me.
