I think the capture the flag exercise was a smart way to be fair. It wasn't about who's stronger or faster but who's smarter and wants it more. Dimitri wasn't willing to give up and got the upper hand. It likely lit a fire in him. We might be seeing just how good he can be later in the season, who knows? A lot can happen from now til the end of the season, and series for that matter. Gah, I can't believe we're nearing the end! Do you think you'll be reacting to Karate Kid Legends?

2025-01-13 21:21:49 +0000 UTCThey only had one color flag because they weren't any teams it was everyone out for themselves. Most flags by individual is winner. Johnny messed up when Devon said she wanted to make him proud, he should have said he already is proud regardless of whether she makes the competition or not. His telling her don't worry, you'll win sets her up in her mind to still need to win to earn his pride . Same with Daniel, he should tell Anthony how impressed and proud he is in the progress he has made so quickly. How great he is doing with his minimal training so far. I think its hard to say who would have won Kenny vs Devon. But I don't feel either of they exemplify Miyagi Do or Eagle Fang mentality. They both seem to be more Cobra Kai. No mercy, win at all cost. No respect for others. Kenny still too bitter about Anthony. I think Hawk let Dimitry have the flag because he felt conflicted about the argument he was having with Dimitri. But I also feel Hawk is the better candidate. I think he wants it more. Dimitri was happy not going until his girlfriend tanked him into it. She was just telling him not to give up because he didn't feel good enough. But I don't think that was the issue. I don't think winning the competition means as much to him as some of the others. I didn't like how Barnes was acting either but at least they did a reversal on it . I'd prefer they didn't do it at all, but I guess it's the only way we could get the fight with him and Johnny. TV show gotta ...

The Main four was clapping so hard for him, so sure that he won when he was running back so excited, but not because he won, because he needed the bathroom. Jeeze..... I also liked the writing here when they tried to have you think Anthony did it when he was talking to the Main four rooting for Kenny, because it's obvious, but Anthony saying "Devon got this" like there was something in his voice that was conspiratorial But the writing for "Muscles" could've been better. Instead of saying out loud "Anybody seen my laxatives?" It should've been low to himself thinking out loud "What happened to my laxative?" Because honesty... Would you want anybody know you taking laxatives? Then we see Kenny's stomach messed up, but it was obvious from the very beginning it was Devon. I appreciate the writers attempt at a little mystery though To answer your other question on why Jonny pushing Devon so hard is because she gets all his old music, and movie quotes, and they understand each other's cutthroat attitudes to be the best. He see's himself in her. Only thing she is missing is the skills Jonny has. Why the hell didn't Hawk get back up and fight? Daniel being kind of an hypocrite isn't he? He was just fighting for Anthony's no talent ass to be on the team, and is now pissed that Demetri came back with the red flag instead of Hawk. The team would've had less of a chance if Anthony WAS on the team, and as much as I can't stand Demetri, I'd rather him than Anthony. Jonny vs Barnes was serious fan service. It was more fan service than Chozen vs Jonny in the beginning of the season, but it was still cool to see them hash things out with their words To answer your other question When everybody was trying to grab flags off each other nobody was on teams. It was every person for themselves. Even Robby, and Miguel was fighting each other at one point Bright side though. There was no Kreese this episode, No wife this episode either π I don't know... Maybe I'm just being an asshole again. Let's move on to the next episodes please π
