Next Project: What do you want us to work on next?
Added 2017-06-14 20:14:22 +0000 UTCI wasn't going to post this poll for quite a while yet, but on the grounds that I've had three different coders express an interest in assisting me with projects in the last day, I felt maybe we should start figuring out what to work on once Wanton Cove reaches completion (After all, its never too soon to get the framework of a project up in preparation of adding content to it, right?)
As you all know, I'm hard at work in the background trying to get Inheritance up and running. Nothing has changed on that front as I like to have two projects at any given time in order to keep things fresh and avoid the potential for burnout. The idea would be to have Inheritance receiving regular updates before Wanton Cove is complete with the goal of having the following project up and running not long after that. Once two projects have become active, releases would alternate between them.
That said, I have three prospective projects for what comes next, and I could think of no better people than you guys to ask for your opinions!
Aftermath:
Set in a post apocalyptic world reminiscent of the Fallout universe. This was actually the game this Patreon page was set up for originally before our coder bailed on us. There is currently a LOT of content written for this setting, we just need the mechanical end of things up and running to make it work.
Futa Apocalypse:
Think zombie apocalypse. Only remove the flesh eating zombies and replace them with horny shemales.
The Virgin Games:
Just posted a pitch for this setting recently. Basic idea is a gameshow where virgin girls compete for a massive cash prize while being hunted by men who wish to take their virginity.

Looks like the poll firmed up a little bit last night, but Aftermath still has a commanding lead. In the interest of putting people to work on my end, I'm going to call it the winner.

2017-06-15 11:55:07 +0000 UTCEveryone has their own kinds. Mine are pretty diverse. I suspect that at least some of it has to do with the fact that the first two games on the list involve "Transformation" themes within the setting, while the third does not, and a very large percentage of the people on this Patreon page originated from TFGamesSite.

2017-06-15 11:46:33 +0000 UTCSad to see the Virgin Games getting no support. I guess that's mostly because it's more PG (ha) in a way and has been somewhat covered before. I still think you'd do a great job at it and bring your own flair to the project. I'm not a super big fan of only shemale stuff, though it being just a part of a game doesn't bother me.

2017-06-15 09:13:24 +0000 UTCIts always interesting to see how things pan out with polls like this. I'll often think I know what to expect (I actually pictured the first two items being close and the third trailing behind) Part of the fun is seeing how things pan out. The idea of working on Aftermath is really exciting for a couple of reasons: 1. There's already a host of content for it so once its mechanically ready to go, its ready to go. 2. Who doesn't love a post apocalyptic orgy? 3. I'm a big fan of post apocalyptic settings, so this feels like a really good fit for my creative energies.

2017-06-15 02:29:38 +0000 UTCI knew a poll would be best to get feedback but I didn't expect it to landslide so hard to the other options. At least it makes it an easy decision for you what to work on next.
2017-06-15 02:18:37 +0000 UTCStory can be found here if you are interested: https://chyoa.com/story/Futa-Apocalypse.5932 Or the game can be found over on TFGamesSite. The origin of the virus is unknown, but the result is that anyone infected, their cum acts as an aphrodisiac to those exposed, and taking their cum internally will turn you into one of them over a period of time, directly proportionate to the amount of exposure you suffered. The infected all sport shemale like characteristics including a feminine body, breasts and a penis.

2017-06-15 02:05:40 +0000 UTCHavent played FS for a long time, but always liked it. Guess I need to get back to it and play a bit more of it again. :D

2017-06-15 02:00:36 +0000 UTCSo... It's a pheromone outbreak that drove futas feral. Futas being stronger than most, and extremely dominate, caused the collapse of many local governments...then eventually all governments. Something like that?
2017-06-15 01:54:34 +0000 UTCYeah, sexy horny shemales that can think of nothing but getting their rocks off is far sexier than rotting flesh any day.
Aftermath Team
2017-06-15 01:50:15 +0000 UTCI'm all for futa apocalypse... But the zombie analogy, aka rotting flesh, is a huge turn off.
2017-06-15 01:42:32 +0000 UTCWell, I'm looking forward to it, if/when you decide to give it a shot. I don't know if you've heard of it or not, but it sounds a bit like Flexible Survival, which is my favorite tf game
2017-06-15 01:26:59 +0000 UTCFair enough! I actually hope to set up a basic sandbox mechanic that works the same for both Futa Apocalypse and Virgin Games, though Futa Apocalypse will be much more advanced in many ways. All three projects will eventually see the light of day I hope, this poll just decides which one gets nudged into early production. ;)

2017-06-15 00:41:57 +0000 UTCWooo as a reboot mine that.. *adds vote*

2017-06-15 00:27:48 +0000 UTCAnd to be fair, one of the Aftermath votes is mine, so in case of a tie between Aftermath and either of the other games, my vote doesn't get counted.

2017-06-14 23:47:30 +0000 UTCIts actually a bit refreshing to see things lean one way so hard. When a community comes to a fairly solid consensus, you know you're doing something right. ;)

2017-06-14 23:45:36 +0000 UTCFA Was really just an excuse for me to learn how to use twine and to showcase a bit of my writing. Its an incredibly popular setting and I feel bad for leaving it hanging the way I did. A reboot would allow it to become an open world setting rather than a linear branching story, kind of like what I started to do with Anna's story towards the end. I think the setting would work very well with a survival aspect, forcing the player to gather supplies, allowing them to fortify houses or even start a colony of survivors. By turning it into more of an interactive/exploration setting, I think the world would feel much more interactive even while making content easier to access.

2017-06-14 23:43:28 +0000 UTCThat's what I kind of imagine as well. I'd love to create something of a sandbox setting that allows for some resource management, settlement building, and just random exploration. The overarcing story would simply be survival, but every NPC introduced into the setting could have small stories of their own to follow and explore as you discover the larger world around you.

2017-06-14 23:37:28 +0000 UTCYeah, I spent so much time going through the paths trying to find the updates. There's probably still some content in there that I never found, though...

2017-06-14 23:31:36 +0000 UTCThat's awesome that you did FA! :). I really enjoyed it actually. Only reason I'm not voting for it is that it had gone broad quickly instead of depth, and got too hard to figure out where new content was out which paths we being missed. Otherwise I'd vote for that too, enjoyed the premise and writing

2017-06-14 23:31:02 +0000 UTCI definitely know what you mean about it getting unwieldy. Too many branches to deal with. But a reboot? That opens up some interesting possibilities to rework the mechanics. Maybe less linear storytelling, a slower transformation/"zombification" with a structure more along the lines of Wanton Cove, and a time element to bring out the slight undertones of body horror and survival. I mean, there are a couple of stories kinda along the same premise, with the same shortcomings of very sudden hard stops and a lot of very shallow paths, but I don't think anyone has done it quite like this yet
2017-06-14 23:29:29 +0000 UTCBoy, this is starting to look like a landslide. (Nothing wrong with that.) I'll wait until morning before passing judgement, then we'll get started planning things in the hopes of getting everyone to work!

2017-06-14 22:46:29 +0000 UTCFuta Apocalypse was my first real project, more to see if I had the patience to create a game and to learn a little bit about the program I use to create games in. I never dreamed that the setting would be so popular, and it turned into a regular project for quite some time. I've wanted to get back to it for quite some time, but just never seem to get around to it. Very true, the TF elements in that particular game were a one way street to a bad end. Granted, before the game became too unorganized and unwieldy to work with, I was taking steps towards allowing players to play as one of the Infected. While playing as one of the Infected is not something I intend to add early in production of a reboot, I would consider it a very likely possibility once the game started to take shape.
Aftermath Team
2017-06-14 22:13:22 +0000 UTCI didn't realize you did Futa Apocalypse. I did like that one, but if I remember correctly it's very difficult to get any actual transformation content that isn't an immediate game over
2017-06-14 22:05:55 +0000 UTCVote your conscience! I've got a LOT of game ideas on the back burner, but those three are probably the closest to actually fleshed out ideas at this time. I'm pretty excited about getting to work on all of them eventually.
Aftermath Team
2017-06-14 21:49:02 +0000 UTCNow that IS a hard decision. I'm all for the first and third choices
