For me my next purchase will be a chronograph, not Rolex or omega but looking at Zenith, what are your thoughts on the new Zenith Original range?

In my free time I have been researching more on rare earth elements and how "green" are our rechargeable batteries (ie EVs) ...... Because I guess I'm at a point in my life where this is what I research in my free time ;) haha. But I just don't see Gen Z... The generation that thrifts most of the things they wear.... I don't see them being down with such wasteful products in the future! I see the Gen Z watch being a vintage piece mechanical watch... Rather than Apple and their throw away junk reliant on rare earth elements that are often dug up through modern slavery. But hey... I think I am being too idealistic! ;) And snowflake-y! I just hate smart watches and hate change ;) <3 <3

2022-08-02 11:14:58 +0000 UTCI think smart watches are here to stay, until phones get supseeded, by implants of some sort. I think they will grow in size as more features get added. But they will be still a throw away item.
