Little Rolex Speculation ;) Let's goooo!

HELLO PATRONS! <3

I am still in denial about being home... I wish I was still in Germany and visiting Glashuette!!! :'( <3

But on the bright side - I just finished this light, little video! <3 In this one, I just wanted to talk about the Pepsi! I've been to SEVERAL AD'S now who have all said the same thing: "We aren't seeing any come through". and yes... ok... It's a Roelx AD ;) They aren't seeing much come through hehe. But they have been saying the lack of Pepi's feels... Noteworthy.

So do we think Rolex could... Maybe... Discontinue the stainless steel GMT Master 2 BLRO?

For me, I think this is a very real possibility. Apparently they have been struggling with producing the bezel (with red being an extra tricky ceramic colour to produce); and for me... When I think of the GMT branding now - it is all "colour-black". So Root beer - brown-black; sprite - green-black; the new grey ones - grey-black; batman - black-blue. The Pepsi is the real outlier not having black!

But anyways, those are just some of my thoughts. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? Could you see this actually happening?!

For now, I am working on my next watch review! A new drop from "IFL Watches" (they do these cool watch dial customisations!), a Seiko review, a Nomos review, a Studio Underd0g... THERE'S SO MUCH GOING ON! ;) <3 I am trying to get hands on with the new Hamilton Khaki Field Expedition (soooo cool!)... And soooo many more!

I have one, and I love it. I can see the point on the bezel production. Rolex like to make money to sustain the business. The Red/Blue ( alledgedly!) costs more per unit ( more production failure) so the margin on Pepsi Steel is lower compared to the other colors. Likelihood is they won't discontinue, as it's a stone cold seller for ADs, but they will prioritise bezels towards the white gold references, rather than the steel. Ironically, This means it's probably easier to get a full gold Pepsi than a Steel! Love the idea that BLNRs are becoming more available - finally means I can buy one on a Jubilee, and swap it with the oyster on my BLRO :D Interzsting Video WG - welcome back from hols.

Oh, I really hope not. It’s one of my favourite Rolex watches. I even aspired to get one some day. Maybe an alternative material could be considered?
