A Bunch of Terms of Service Gubbins, and I Am Not A Minor.

Before we go on, I'd just like to say how much I appreciate you all for supporting me and putting up with my nerdy rambling about...everything.Thank you.

OK, back to nerdy rambling.

SO FAR in our New YouTube Channel journey, we have:

- chosen a name and started some social media accounts,

- verified the YouTube account with a phone so that videos can be edited post-upload and custom thumbnails are enabled,

- made some channel art,- uploaded a photo to the G+ page that accompanies the YouTube channel.

We've got a whole bunch of other stuff going on on this page though.

Hmm, let's try and enable monetisation...wait, why does it think I'm under 18? Weird. 

NEVAH MIND. 

To enable monetisation you have to connect your account to your Google AdSense account. And that knows what age I am. And my address. And probably what I had for breakfast, who knows.

Of course, I haven't got 10,000 views yet, so we have to wait on that to enable monetisation properly.

Livestreaming! Agree to terms of service, boom, done, I'm not eligible for anything else at the moment. That said, my other channel should be able to have Super Chats. Whatever those are.

So I might have said already that I've already made my first video for the channel (working on the second one now). My next thing to sort, then, before the video goes live, is a watermark.These aren't compulsory or anything, but clicking on that little icon in the bottom right corner of the screen is an easy way to subscribe to the channel. And I do like to make it easy for people to subscribe.It can also be a useful branding tool.A while back (when googling lightbulbs for ideas when designing the channel art) I came across a lightbulb with plants inside it and thought OOOOOOHHHH.(I invite you to google 'lightbulb plant' and bask in all the pretty images).So I'll be discussing that in a future post, hopefully soon.I'll also be doing a post on thumbnail design, if that interests anyone?For now, you all be good!
