Funny how your muse can leap out like a swamp creature and pull you back into the muck of your imagination, and suddenly you're stuck flailing in obsession for one more thrashing struggle as you fight to breathe. But I clawed my way back, puking the art water onto the deck of my ramshackle social media riverboat. Footnotes are included in the Twitter post, if you're interested. Now, I really am done with it this time! Setting sail to original waters!
Speaking of which, I'd like to take a moment to apologize for being one of the slower artists out here. I know I don't produce content at nearly the pace of many others. I suppose I should mention that I'm kind of a caretaker. I have an octogenarian parent who needs assistance with certain things, and more so as time passes, as well as several dogs that were kinda dumped on us when my father moved across the country, so a lot of my schedule is taken up these days. I love them all in different ways (though I am NOT a dog person), but it does make it hard to find time to draw. Just don't want you to think I'm slacking off here!
So I remain all the more deeply appreciative of the support I receive. It's what enables me to produce anything, and soon I'll be able to announce Witch Warp! That's the plan, anyway! Gotta watch out for that Swamp Muse looking to drag me off course.
