Here is a beginner-friendly tarot spread that I’ve created just for you. I’m listing the instructions here but there’s also a cute PDF that you can download and keep.

Tarot cards are rich in symbolism, which aligns perfectly with the witchy practice of reading and interpreting signs and omens.

The tarot (or any divination system) can serve as a powerful tool for honing intuition, offering a structured way to use synchronicity to develop a deeper understanding of the subconscious mind.

This 3-card spread uses the themes from my book Accidental Magic as an inspiration.

It can take time and a commitment to cultivating awareness in order to access your own magical gifts.

This spread will point you towards your hidden talents and provide insights into how to embrace them.

Some tarot cards can be more confrontational than others.

If you receive a “negative” card in your spread, I encourage you to think about Rosemary and Athena and consider how facing various challenges can be such a huge part of the transformative journey.

If you happen to have more than one tarot deck, choose your favourite one (or whichever one you’re drawn to). If you prefer using oracle cards, use your own judgement to determine if the deck will work for these questions.
