My Little Pony - Flutter Brutter - 6x11

As much as I hate to admit it, I see a lot of myself in Zephyr. I'm in my mid 20s. I haven't graduated college. I live with my parents. Now, I have a job, and I rely on my family for very little outside of a place to live, but nevertheless this one hits hard in a way I'm not proud of. In many aspects of my life I've failed to accomplish what I want because I've not been able to make myself do what I need to do. The fear of failure probably plays a role in that. Fluttershy's line about how failing feels bad, but giving up doesn't feel much better resonates with me. I've been getting better though and I know that one of these days I'll be able to do it on my own. For a show that primarily teaches lessons for young children, it's kind of funny to see one that's clearly aimed at the adult audience that the show developed. You know there's definitely a fair number of adult fans that are, in fact, like Zephyr and could use a wake-up call directly from the show.

Lol I like how you didn't like Zephyr even before he showed up on screen That's got to be an academy record Anywho, in many ways, I consider myself lucky to *not* be artistic. Because I just don't have that drive/need to do things that are neither social nor make money. To create, and stuff. Well, I have a little of that, most humans do, but it doesn't *drive* me So I fulfil meaning from my career and relationships, and don't really have to worry about balancing that with creating art, like Zephyr or you do Instead, I can just work like a good little corporate drone, not be a burden on anybody, and live vicariously through my artistic friends, and help them where I can
