Ascension is the best!

Jan Alexander

I wonder if a sufficently powerful Silver/Gold plate could forcefully add themselves to a full party of eight the same way they can forcefully enter a dungeon already at max capacity. Also on the topic of Linksight experiments, the Queen link seems to remain active even when Ameliah/Rain are asleep, so there's definitly some odd system shenanigans going on there.

Starless

Inflation touching every aspect of my life :(

jdouglas

It's been stated that the party size limit is eight. Multiple parties of eight can kill a blue, but only the one doing the killing blow get the essence. Rain can use Linksight to see who is in his party. It's still unclear whether you actually need to actively contribute to get kill contribution outside of a lair. Kettel got 1% contribution for a slime kill while just standing there. There's also cases like Khurt the tavern owner who got awakened to silver as a child and he most certainly did not contribute in that fight. So it seems that outside of lairs you just have to be nearby and part of the group that kills the blue.

Cirvante

I'm not sure it was that simple for his first blue. He was the reason the lvl 18 musk wolf was there in the first place. It was attracted to his teleport. Therefore he got contribution for attracting it to its ultimate defeat. I also think that link sight is just an indicator of connection. They did several experiments in one chapter and it was mainly based on a joint desire to complete a task, as muddy as that is defined. The question is how are the rules on cap raising is defined. Can any number be raised as long as they contribute to the kill. Or is there only so much essence to go around. We simply haven't had the opportunity to test this yet because all blues Ascension has used have been in lairs or with a small team. My guess is that the reason parties are limited to 8 is because that's the maximum number the system can raise the cap for. But I wouldn't bet on it, who knows what shenanigans they will get up too.

Callum Rhodes

questions: so is there a cap on how many people can be in a party outside of a duengon? can rain through a combination of link sight and aura iff augment who or how many of his guild is in a party with him? and if rain got the lvl 18 cap just by being a prisoner but still part of the party some how, couldnt the same be said for any of his various guild mates no matter there lvl if they catch a blue outside of a duengon, like in a ocean with a school of whales which one might be blue? much appreciated if anybody can confirm any of this

ricky jackson

Thanks for helping renforcing my thalassophobia

Thenais

Yeah, Leviathans are gold-tier, raise the area rank around them and can block entire shipping lanes just by showing up. Whales are like wandering silvers that apparently travel in pods and can operate in lower-ranked zones for a while without being weakened. A whale is still subject to the area's damage limit though, whereas a leviathan raises the damage limit through it's sheer presence and can probably one-shot any ship in existence.

Cirvante

Oh yea I remember the Empire dude mentioning something like changing entire navigation routes to avoid leviathans who wander a bit too close to the surface. Can't wait for the interrogation scene when Rain sees him still onboard.

Starless

leviathans are at least gold tier and scary strong, avoided in delve world rather than fought, kinda like dragons who are also implied to be gold tier and influence area rank, but probably stronger, as it was said Kev's goldplates are succesfully providing some protection from dragons whales are much smaller deal, tho still formidable, they should be silver and couldn't break Temerity, even when it had weaker protections than current Empire ship (that got better barriers to counter Velika), but I guess a whole shoal is still a lot of trouble, especially if Rain reaching deep with his magic managed to lure some unusually strong one info mainly from chapters swim, interrogation, welcome

Veritas Dolor

Was there ever a clarification on the difference between whales and leviathans? I'm kinda curious now that it's relavant to the current situation.

Starless

Silverplate armor would also explain why he couldn't advance further than low-gold. Eventually the monsters get so powerful that even with Living Armor he gets torn apart. Could have also been the rest of his team struggling that stopped him of course. He seems to have no visible stat rings, but might have an amulet and definitely loads of accolades. He got the first taste of Tallheart's smithing prowess here. Who knows, as he sticks around and maybe even gets some equipment for his trouble, he might eventually offer to raise Tallheart, Rain and Ameliah to gold. Velika could be recruited for that as well with the promise of new swords and armor. And with two goldplates to carry them, getting the others to at least high-silver should be possible. And by that point, Halgrave and Velika will both realize that they have an opportunity to advance further themselves here.

Cirvante

Starless, please take your meds.

Cirvante

Oh hey now that I'm thinking about the strange similarities between slimes and whales, maybe the reason Dozer didn't take damage from that Fireball a few chapters ago is because a level 0 essence beast would artificially lower the damage limit around him to zero. Just like how powerfull essence beast raise the damage limit around them.

Starless

We know too little to speculate anything particularly concrete but I do want to point out that Halgrave’s dad (Mahria’s grandfather who died before she was born) was part of the Rousers (the rogue) which was a gold level adventuring team so the amount of knowledge (like a rare and legendary classes for Halgrave) he likely passed on would be pretty good. Halgrave himself should be in the low 50s as a gold plate but this highlights one fact: low rank zones are a massive equalizer (handicap for higher leveled people who can’t break damage limit) in a fight. Can even go as far to say that your odds of fighting a higher tier can solely depend on whether you are in a low or high ranked zone. Halgrave wasn’t only fighting in a zone that capped the amount of power he can output but was defending the ship. So fighting with all these disadvantages shows that he is a badass that wasn’t able to fully showcase his ability. Under the conditions of fighting in a low ranked zone, Rain, in a sense is more specced for a battle of attrition on the surface (low ranked zone) than Halgrave is. That isn’t even considering what he can potentially do at peak silver with multiple skills to cover weaknesses (like lacking those remaining wards) and time to train. Speculation is fun even if the results wildly differ with all relevant variables.

Conor McGroarty

It's like the DBZ 100-X-gravity training or whenever a fighter drops weights before the 'grand battle' in some martial arts movie ------ [Our villain watches with glee as Rain removes his armor... He chortles in a rapid crescendo before contemptuously shouting at the defenseless aura mage...] "What now, Ascended?! Have you lost all hope in this meaningless fight? Have you finally come to understand the power inherent in my family's technique, passed down for 300 generations? If you grovel now and hand over your woman, I shall increase the likelihood of your quick death from 'impossible' to 'improbable.'" [Chortling intensifies] --- [Rain becomes 'Deathzone'] --- Villain: "How is this possible!!!"

J Salz

Yeah, I can see Bakal fitting in. Also Rain may be the leader of Ascension, but he is no ship captain, and I doubt they have more than a couple of people who have any idea of how to run a ship. Unless they picked up some new members in Three Cliffs before the Adamants showed up. So they'll need someone like Bakal to teach them, and with him taking charge of the ship, Rain won't have to give any of his already very limited time to this role.

Pebble

Just be sure not to give the whales too much essence. If they really eat the stuff like slimes do, it would be kinda awkward if Rain accidentally tamed one.

Starless

Well Bakal does still have a crew and subordinates he is responsible for (they would likely follow if Bakal goes with them). So they will have to deal with The Heart of Adamant and the Tread of Industry somehow, likely by Rain helping to be an attractive lighthouse that supplies whales with mana from essence well so they aren’t weakened from the rank zone. He can deal with Incarns while zipping around with Ameliah and having Velika and Halgrave around to help intercept and lower mana Rain has to use.

Conor McGroarty

+1 for nakama spirit :P

crusaderstar

My money is on silverplate-tier armor. I mean, he could also have a rare class instead of legendary, but the armor is a very likely factor either way. I say this mostly because Halgrave has gone on and on about his stupid hammer. But I don't think we've ever seen him mention or think about his armor with such obvious affection or value. Considering his go-to skill is the Living Armor skill, the absence of any mentions of his armor is even more noticeable. Also, there's never been a mention of Halgrave wearing rings or other accessories. It's possible he has his ring slots integrated into his armor. But what are the odds he doesn't even have stat equipment? If he doesn't, he's probably weaker than even Rain and Ameliah right now.

Ziggy

I feel like the enchantment cost of combining Equipment User skills with Living Armor would be way past the limit of any metal we've seen thus far. Dude would explode like one of Tallheart's Breaker Arrows if he tried stacking THAT many multipliers.

Starless

Ya know I've followed this story since dang near the beginning. As of today I'm a Patreon sponsor and I don't regret a dollar spent! Amazing story. Delve has been so much fun and I look forward to seeing how the story progresses

Hondolor

A Heavy Armor user would have Mountain Stance to keep their footing. Perhaps with their boosted stats it's strong enough to avoid being kicked off the ship. I'm still amazed that the Incarn could deplete Halgrave's durability enough to do damage. Maybe his armor isn't actually gold-tier compared to his hammer. Because plate armor comparable to Rain's Myriad Plate with 600k Durability, combined with Deep Durability, Empowered Armor, Thickened Plate and Living Armor all at Rank 15 would give him 26,250,000 Durability. That could take 10,500 strikes at 2,500 damage before being depleted. Or almost three hours of him getting hit for 9,999 damage every second. If we consider that his health/durability acts as a buffer and prevents injury until the halfway point, that's still 90 minutes of continuous attacks and that's not even counting his Regenerative Plate, which seems to work with Living Armor rather than canceling itself out. So the only reasonable explanation is that he has mediocre silverplate armor or a shitty build.

Cirvante

Halgrave is getting infected by the nakama spirit. As are Velika and Bakal. I doubt he'll join Ascension anytime soon, but he'll stick around as the grumpy dad and throw his weight behind them when it matters. Velika is along for the ride to get away from Ekrustia, but I imagine she'll also want some swords and even some armor. I could see her work for Ascension as some kind of contractor getting paid with equipment. Bakal had his retirement ruined by the empire and nowhere to go. But he also rediscovered his taste for battle and adventure. And booty, because pirate. And with Rain to refill his mana whenever he needs it, he might just come along for fun. I could see him joining Ascension, they've got a ship, strong fighters and are kinda doing their own thing without bowing to any authorities. That should appeal to an old pirate. They also have a pretty good setup, with crafters and supports, which will only get better over time. Getting something like Ascension started would seem impossible to most and destined for failure, but once it has gained some momentum and has proven to be competent, people will become more and more enamored by the idea. Also there's nothing quite like fighting the evil empire together to forge bonds in battle.

Cirvante

Tallheart is only level 37, Halgrave is over 50. However, Tallheart has a legendary class. I suspect that Halgrave does not. Which implies fewer specializations, lower stats, and no weird special abilities like Jacks get. Still expected a better showing from him, since he at the very least has some excellent gear made out of stuff we haven't seen anywhere else yet. Curious how it compares to what Ameliah is using. Expected more from Velika too. She isn't geared like Halgrave, but as a noble she's almost certainly gotten a legendary class of some sort and lots of tricks, she should have fared better considering she wasn't even facing an incarn.

Stormlock

According to his words it seemed like he entered the slug fest because he was trying to minimize damage to the ship and protect its inhabitants. If he actually dodged he'd probably be better off but there's no telling how the ship would be.

JC Silver

The were doubters last week but I'm feeling super vindicated that Rain+suppression is an anti-incarn killing machine! Great analysis btw!

JC Silver

Thabks for anothet great chapter, Velika is funny in small doses and Halgrave could be a good temp asset.

Doodlyboy15

interestingly enough, the tooltip for the T2 earth magic Rooted also specifies it protects the mage from being blown backwards from the resultant force of cast spells. So presumably mages also need to worry about stance/balance while slinging high powered spells.

Starless

Isn't Tallheart at around the same level as Halgrave and invested purely in strength for his entire build? Somebody who can budge under Tallhearts strength would be the statistical anomaly. As for why Halgrave didn't kick the Incarn off the ship, did we see how the Incarn got on the ship? Airwalk has been called out as a skill that a whole lot of melee builds pick up eventually.

John Pratt

I had the same thought about kicking the Incarn off the ship. But I'm 90% sure there would be skills that most melee fighters have that would prevent it. Something that almost every melee fighter needs to actually wield their strength is leverage and the ability to stand in place. Halgrave has that one ability to evenly distribute weight, but I bet there are several skills based around the same thing. There are skills revolving around making it harder to knock you off the ground like Bear Stance or whatever it was called, skills based around making your armor's friction higher or lower and so on. I'm sure a melee Incarn has skills using one or several of those core concepts to keep their footing, or being rooted in place, or other fun possibilities. Otherwise, the moment you lift them off the ground like Tallheart did to Thrast, all they can really do is impotently flail around.

Ziggy

I have a theory that Halgrave for all his hammer shenanigans is actually a defensive frontliner. Wouldn't even be surprised if he has points in Threat Attraction and was his team's backup tank. He's heavily invested in Heavy Armor and defensive skills, he couldn't budge under Tallheart's 2,000 Strength and he could keep Living Armor going for a looong time. Depending on whether he has it at Rank 15 or 20, it would cost 9-12k per minute. The guy must have some massive Endurance and stamina pool. Also, any melee fighter without elemental damage would get spanked by Lavarro, they'd just be refilling her mana pool with every strike. What I don't understand is why Halgrave didn't kick the Incarn into the ocean. A level 24 melee fighter, even as an Incarn, should have trouble getting back on board.

Cirvante

Nah, that was Clubbs.

Cirvante

To be fair, he would have wrecked the Incarn, if he hadn't cared about collateral damage and dodged her attacks. In his fight against Westbridge he also held back for fear of destroying the city. And while he did get wounded in the process, he also killed his Incarn the old-fashioned way. He pretty much fits the 'jerk with a heart of gold' trope.

Cirvante

Also get that man a damn weight toggle rune for his hammer. Seeing him babysit his weapon like a red-headded step-child is fuckin embarassing for a goldplate.

Starless

I mean, he and Ameliah were both limited by the fact that they had a protection objective - Ameliah needed to draw the Incarn away from the ship, and thus couldn't fall back so far he'd turn around, and Halgrave needed to keep the Incarn from hurting his daughter. That's much harder than an open fair fight. But yeah, Halgrave got tricked by Westbridge and barely beat an Incarn. He might be able to benefit from Rain's strategy/tactics stuff.

Zachary T Pruckowski

Halgrave's willingness to lose life and limb here is endearing. But also, god he's such a scrub goldplate lol. Let's not use strategy or anything, just get into a straight up slugfest with the Incarn. To the point he almost loses his arm. We always assumed he was a weaker goldplate than most considering his silverplate ex wife could beat him even in a fair fight. But jesus, man.

Ziggy

We've got a stage 5 clinger. Don't restrain him, for the love of god. He likes it.

Ziggy

Was Kip the guy really good at the chess like game?

Bakerdea

Still can't believe that a full on clarity build was trying do complex mana manipulations while wearing a metal suit while surrounded by metal. Even after all the times it was hinted that metal makes mana go brzzkkk and even outright stated several times that metal makes mana go brzzkkk..tbh rain wasn't the only feeling dumb when he realised that he could do multiple auras without his tin suit.

Mohamed Raihaan

Absolutly spectacular. Also, Three Cliffs POV: Dudes in white cloaks randomly show up Fights off a literal army Refuses to elaborate Leaves

Starless

This was a fantastic chapter and I am glad I was here for it. Congrats on 200 and I will see you for 201.

Michael Hughes

The introduction scene of suppression heavily implies the spell initiates something like soul contest, apparently deadly for souls already decaying from overenchantments. Its confirmed the numbers of mana tax are capped by damage limit, but looks like this effect is not.

Veritas Dolor

This chapter was both spectacular and wholesome. Despite a significant part of Delve edging toward a slice-of-life story, SenescentSoul is great at writing action. We do not often get to witness high-level battles, and this one was as satisfying as the others. Tallheart working on Halgrave, along with all those character meetups, is fantastic.

Simon

I recall there was a chapter where various souls were classified with different names given for human (and cervidian) souls, animal souls and monster souls. Human souls are complete and capable of awakening. Animal souls cannot awaken (half souls was the term?) and monsters aren’t even considered alive. My own personal theory (one I wonder if it will come true) is that animals can theoretically awaken if their intelligence and such is increased with things like winter and essence well (having higher intelligence may impact their soul and cause it to develop into one equivalent to a human’s, a complete one). The System will change them just like how a Cervidian’s antlers grow proportionally to their level. It is a vestige of them being changed by the system and being uplifted to a higher state. So I haven’t lost hope of Dust, Cloud and the cat (Edit: just remembered the cat is named Nibs which is fitting name as she is owned by Romer who is a scribe) Awakening. Though this would be when Ascension has essence monsters to spare (having a lair that can be quickly recharged with elemental kata) for experiments. Just as well as the animals likely need a longer period of time to qualify for such an “ascension” of being. Better to wait longer than to mistakenly write it off as impossible.

Conor McGroarty

Both her parents care for Mahria but Lavarro was more chaotic and believed in might makes right (wonder if that motherly love was corrupted somewhat into an obsession with making a successor?). Halgrave is more of an order kind of guy and believes the rules should be followed. Both stubborn hardasses but Lavarro let her power control her instead of the other way around and is currently suffering at the hands of someone stronger (assuming she wasn’t already mentally put to death by Warden Vatreece).

Conor McGroarty

Did Rains suppression break the damage limit? Or is it unaffected by it? Or was there “just” soul shenanigans inherent in the skill? It seems clear that the soul/magic suppression benefited from using more power than the damage limit would normally allow, whatever else that happened. A bit of a wild theory would be that Rain extended the domain of his soul through oversoul, removing the system influence and with it the damage limit, allowing him to suppress the incarn with more power than should be allowed, eventually cracking his paling.

Chymor

In the first place, Suppression and Impediment (the stamina version of suppression) put souls in opposition. That is why it is Suppression, you are suppressing the soul of another with your own. That is what makes it different from the mental offensive aura besides mana type. It functions on a soul level. That is why when Rain tried it on Ameliah in the depths, his soul was injured. Granted his own soul wasn’t in the best state as his Tear was being repaired and he was still bronze but it shows that it isn’t wise to use it across tiers without consequence. An Incarn may be buffed to hell but there shouldn’t be any existing buff that works directly on the soul (the Watch even said Rain has to depend on himself for his soul). So he added more pressure to an already unstable situation where power was forcefully applied beyond their means. The result was natural. Now the Flesh Singer (Ameliah’s ex) could be debated as something similar but he just changes the shape of the soul and the connection with the body reflects that. It doesn’t fundamentally strengthen and reinforce the soul, only changes it like some kind of clay I guess. Mastering your soul like what Rain, Ameliah and Tallheart are doing (a process that generally doesn’t happen until gold) is a gradual process that a simple skill shouldn’t be capable of.

Conor McGroarty

So tallhearts also a healer of a sorts - I can dig that.

James Heskett

imho, the 2 ships will be gulped down by whatever is coming from the depths. “Dead. Rain found his body, but it was too deep.” “The sharks won’t get him, Belson. I made sure of that.” ->how to lure a bunch of depths monsters to the surface 101

Thenais

Amazing chapter

Gabe

Tallheart repairing Halgrave like he's some ratty piece of armor is the funniest shit I have ever seen. Now rain better get his ass in gear (literally, put his armor on) and get popping on the other incarns, if he does that they can probably capture the other two ships as well. He might even be able to show the whales he is on their side with auras, such as inverted immolate, essence well etc. Now is not the time to abandon the people of three cliffs!

abowden

Ah Hargrave eat shit man xD thinking he hot shot, and he get recked here, bite more than what he can chew for the second time :P I kind of love him as a good secondary character with how he is writen :)

Zarik0

So Rain has essentially become an Incarn killer (their natural enemy poking their fundamental flaw of forcefully wielding power beyond their grasp) when even a gold plate like Halgrave had trouble (Halgrave was gimped from having to protect Temerity and this being a low ranked zone but still shows that Rain is more effective counter in these conditions). Though it’s true Halgrave shouldn’t be a high level gold plate (those ones are like Burrick and Lightbreaker who break damage limit and have over soul stuff), gold is gold. Will be amazing to know the Adamant’s reaction if (when) they connect the Incarn exploding to Rain. Will they authorize the rest of their use and have them blow up? I initially thought that Rain’s detour was to get a pod of whales to assault the Adamant ships, not pickup overboard member(s corpse). Sucks that Ascension’s death count has reached 2 but could be worse. I know that Rain can feed a pod of whales with essence well to counteract the negative effects from being in a less hospitable Rank zone for their level while Ameliah zips around with him in her arms (keeping him safe from Whales and many Adamant attacks while Rain’s auras defend against the rest like arrows). Plus Rain can neutralize any Incarns they send out and can even have Velika and Halgrave as bodyguards while letting Whales do work. Then Adamants will be in a situation to be sunk or retreat. That’s not even considering the minor possibility of a Leviathan being attracted to the very bright lights and that will be game over for Adamants (they would be the brightest bubble once Rain clamps down on mana). It’s amazing to consider the potential power and flexibility Rain will have (ideally showcased in a low rank zone like this so damage limit helps him drag it into a war of attrition instead of burst damage one shot) when he reaches the peak of silver (49) and has access to so many other auras that will further cover any weaknesses. Having all defense auras for one thing means he is safe from all damage as long as mana holds (this would hold true even if damage limit is broken but that would be a rare and dangerous situation as his mana pool is going against damage per second that should be exclusive to higher zones). But nothing more mana can’t solve. Imperial auras (Empire of will, grit and brawn for Focus, Endurance and Strength respectively) will allow him to boost allies (while taking into account their respective tolerances as it was mentioned that a large amount of stats is an attack when it bypasses their threshold) or just himself massively. Plus the seasonal auras bringing his attrition ability even higher. All of this means Rain has the potential to become an unkillable cockroach that can consistently nibble away at them every single second. Though all that is for the future when he has more experience (and power) under his belt. Though I do wonder if anyone else has ever made such a rapid rise (excluding anyone who was power leveled to gold, though that is only for cap while they still have to fill experience themselves) in levels and power before Rain? Probably no one in modern times (maybe Majistraal era). I recall Ameliah had said that Rain was growing extremely fast but that he has no danger of losing his way (being corrupted by his own power) but he does have the danger of running himself ragged if no one stops him. Speaking of ragged, Rain has done some ridiculous stuff so far in a very short period of time. The patch may end up blowing by the time this is done but Rain has taken precautions to minimize damage and has a time ratio that makes a day real time into days of work soul time. Since Halgrave is warming up somewhat to Ascension, he may throw his weight around in Barstone (and thus the rest of DKE territory) to have them back off from Temerity and go salvage the Heart of Adamant (one of the ships) and the Treads of Industry (not completely sure about that second name). One each for the Watch and DKE to salvage. I doubt Warden Vatreece would overlook Fecht making another move like he did for Fel Sadanis stopping quick salvage (not even sure if she has made any attempt at retaliation yet or just biding her time). After all, the Warden’s forbearance is not done of weakness but from taking the entire situation into account. Plus Fecht cannot be so far away from the Adamant Empire (Fel Sadanis was already pushing it) since Vatreece would strike and cripple military.

Conor McGroarty

Dust best horse, wonder when rain will figure out its sapient

Kedar

“Oh, no, not the clinger,” Velika said LOL

Thenais

Damned good chapter. Would love to have less of the "character does thing left unexplained until afterward" trope though.

Ziru

Though I am sad we didn't get to see a giant water kraken, it's nice for us to finally understand how he got the moniker "Barge King". Turns out the name was way more literal than I thought.

JC Silver

This crises based recruiting strategy is showing consistently favorable results.

Adam Roundfield

ah good chapter, loved it. and thanks for no cliffy just at the two week break XD

Jeppe Fiig

One of Ascension's members. Only mentioned in passing via the members lists. He's a low bronze rogue that was recently awakened. Originally from Sadanis and used to be a mercenary.

Kendelle Trotter

Exactly what I thought. I imagine supression increased his soul pressure like putting a balloon underwater. Then he did something else to poke a hole in it.

LEMON

I'm having a bit of a brain fart. Who's Telen?

Garrett

It looks like Temerity is going to outpace Empire's ship, causing them to return to their mission of taking over 3 cliffs (which sucks for the awakened left there). So, everyone currently on Temerity is going to stay there until they reach their destination (originally Barstone). I'd imagine some if not all of them will stay. After all, there is nothing there for Bakal, Velika is still being hunted by other Citizens, and I imagine Thrast and Cessa would prefer to join Ascensions rather than working as Guilders in a new city. Doubt Halgrave would stay, but at the very least he'd become more of an ally compared to before.

Jac Onue

Agreed, this was made of awesome

Mike G.

Halgrave has always been one of my favorite side characters and him taking blows he could have dodged just to make sure the ship wasn't destroyed and thinking it'd be worth it to lose an arm as long as his daughter gets to live is absolutely great character development. Halgrave for father of the year!

OfMiceAndElves

And finally everyone is brought together. Hargrave, Velika, Barge King, Thrast, Cessa. I wonder if any of them will join Ascension? At the very least, I don't forsee them going back to Three Cliffs...

Loipers

ugh need more

Thouit

“NO ARMOR ON MY SHIP” hahaha. Loved that line. Really great writing recently. Can’t wait for the next chapter.

Bzzt

This. This was a perfect chapter. My favorite one so far.

Kendelle Trotter

Thanks for the chapter, love the direction you’ve taken the story in

Riordan Pawley

Did he use Suppression and then soul-poke the Incarn until he popped like a balloon? Nice job, Rain. Also, I love surgeon Tallheart. He's a sweetie.

Jump 'N Shoot Man

Finally, man it feels like literally forever since chapter 100, I wonder if this is going to be just as eventful... I bet he's going to fuck the incarn (rain) edit: I figured he might pop him with some combination of suppression and winter, soul stuff was only my second guess

abowden

Thanks for the chapter! 🥳
