Dude, what? Rain isn't fleshsinging, he's not affecting their souls or bodies the way Lerith did. The improved memory and intelligence from Winter comes from the overmana. It has nothing to do with cold or arcane mana. Similarly, Spring should improve muscle memory and coordination through overstamina and Summer should slow aging probably. Fuck if I know what side effect Fall would have. More efficient metabolism?

Pretty excited to see what secondary effects Rain is fleshsinging onto all his Ascention members with this prolonged exposure to Velocity Aura. We already know the cold/arcane mana from Winter gives increased memory/intelligence, so I'm hoping for something like acuity or reaction speed.

I could think of one better: Ascension enters the chasm and with Rain’s reduculous purification zone (that will have Either Aura as well, so it will even go through solid objects) of probably over a kilometre (not counting if Rain uses his next stat ring to get into sync his stats into the thousands) and would start cleaning out the chasm the longer he’s there, and then once hes at the camp, power the teleporter for everyone to leave. Then see what happens if he changes all chemical slimes to crystal slimes there and make it only spawn crystal slimes, just to see what would happen. Both short and long term.

Also altering someone with chaotic essence while the target is juiced up on pure essence from killing a blue should also be permanent. Luckily our resident madlad MC should be uniquely resistant/immune to this type of malpractice since his core no longer draws in all the surrounding essence automatically. Any foreign pure essence introduced to his soul will end up being stored/diluted by his own legendary dynamo sized storage tanks before eventually hitting his core.

Intresting. I'm guessing the trick is that healing(altering) people with chaotic essence is temporary since it eventually gets purified and expelled. Conversely, healing(altering) someone using only purified essence is permanent since it actually gets absorbed into the core. This also explains why Rain's permanent physical changes only started when he began juicing up his core.

Definitely anticipating the next time Lerith shows up. I don’t think Senescent is done with such a interesting class and family. Also makes you wonder how many classes there are that are unique like Val's or Lerith's.

All the talk of making people fit the image of their soul makes me wonder about the consequences of Rain's soul avatars, If he spends all his time in his soul envisioning himself as a Gigantic Metal Lich, will that ever affect how he imagines himself, and therefore his actual form in any way? Also, if that soul altering requires Lerith to invade a soul to make his changes... Just imagining him invading Rain's soul realm after he has had time to work on it, the whole thing a giant fortress of conceptualized imperviousness and Rain looking down upon the invader as one would look upon an ant.... its a fun image.

Wait a minute, was Lerith “actually” hot? It’s been established that he has been able to make cosmetic changes (bone, muscle, skin structures and such) before meeting Ameliah so it isn’t impossible that he made some changes to himself to make his charisma better (people are more inclined to have a favorable impression of aesthetically pleasing people).

I don't remember the exact name. But the person was "one of their own." So a member of the watch. Lerith was a Freelord, so it wasn't him. If you want to find the chapter, it was after Rain got trapped in the barrier but before he went into the Fells. They were discussing it as they were watching Rain use refrigerate while running around, I believe.

But I imagine there must have been at least *some* people acting as positive influence in her life after she escaped from Brightside. Otherwise what reason would she have from ever changing her mindset of having to fuck people over just to survive?

Honestly, re-reading the chapter. The part that is absolutely awful is the transformation of Ameliah. It is really, really sickening. He basically treated her like a pet and not even one that you treat well

Well that happened... well I doubt Lerith is dead considering he is a named character with such potential for an antagonist. It will be interesting to see his transformations likely not working on Rain as Rain has entered and is in the process of mastering his soul. Thus his resistance to outside influence and such bs should be strong. It would be funny to see Lerith losing due to someone mastering themselves; a guy who spent so long twisting and contorting the bodies and souls of others, never bothered to mastered himself, losing to someone who has.

My guess is she was already beautiful or would grow to be beautiful, but Lerith was molding her appearance after his preferences. Plus the changes that fix things like scars or damaged skin would stay and 90% of beautification is removing imperfections like that. Getting rid of acne scars, aligning a broken nose, clearing out clogged pores etc.

I am confused, did she reverted to her original look completely? There were several scenes that implied her beauty is more than outstanding, which lead ppl to theorise its work of a healer, so it would fit greatly. But then, if even something as minor as freckles came back, then that would mean everything was undone and she was just naturaly that beautiful? Or of the minor changes only ones she didn't like faded?

I'm kind of curious about how the known skills part would work with her silver class. Would she be able to level every skill and get something beyond a legendary gold class simply for having every skill at level 11?

I was a bit torn recently. The last chapter or two had Ameliah's thoughts on her actions in Brightside/Lerith seem to noticeably shift a bit off what it seemed prior. But daaaamn. The payoff was great. I assume one of the edits involved how Ameliah thought of the guy that ran the teleporter as a nice dude that gave her a big discount for using her own mana. I distinctly remember that and would definitely clash with this unless the asshole mentioned this chapter in charge of the teleporter died first or something. Also, +1 to ALL SKILLS? Good lord. She really undersold how amazing that accolade was before now. And would have been perfect to shore up some of the weakness in her build. And that was just from a silver lair? Accolades are absurd.
