I loved your reaction to one of my favorite movies!! The narrative is definitely something very few people expect before they watch it, it's pure fever dream at certain points. Unfortunately, the only thing you CAN be sure about when going into it is that Dr. Frank-n-Furter will not survive till the end. At this point in time, it was extremely rare for queer characters (and especially trans characters) in film to not meet some tragic death. Even in a film as explicitly queer as this one. (I'm sure you caught the line "society must be protected" from dr scott near the end. in context, it's probably about like... murder or whatever, but it's definitely just as much about "corruption") Thank you for watching it, keeping an open mind, and having fun!!
