I absolutely love this film. I also don't understand why some people hated it. I know one reason is what you mentioned, how she became kinda OP there at the end, but other than that, I feel the same way about the origins of certain things, especially where Avenger came from. Another thing I loved was how Carol got her powers. It is said that the two most powerful Avengers are Carol and Wanda, which makes sense, because Wanda got her powers from the Mind Stone, while Carol got hers from the Space Stone. In Agents of SHIELD, the GH325 formula didn't come from a Skrull; it came from a Kree. The girl you're thinking of from Sabrina is Kiernan Shipka. The actress who played a younger Carol was McKenna Grace, who is also in a lot of different things.
