January 2023 prompt sneak peak

Still working on this, just been sick so should have the whole story out by tomorrow.

Over at a local college within a small rural town, a group of fraternity brothers were busy at the college donation bin. Sorting through a collection of books that had been dropped off earlier that day. The young men were searching through the piles of books for any that they and their fellow brothers needed for their courses.

“Okay, I found a couple for English Lit.” Douglas called out from a pile. The slightly chubby student let out a cheer as he flipped through one of the books, seeing how there were notes written within the book's margins. “Looks like Simon will get some bonus help too.”

“Great, that means we just need Advanced Sci and Ancient Myth and then our house will be covered for the study material.” The fraternity head, Michael, listed off. Crossing off the books they had found for their fellow fraternity brothers studies. Watching on as Douglas put the newly snagged second hand books with the others the frat brothers had found. Michael turned to where their new pledge, Jason, was still shifting through some volume. Though he seemed to have been focused on the contents of one of the books. “Found something we need Jay?”

“Huh?” Jason blinked up from being called out by his senior, the other frat brothers catching sight of the book Jason was looking through, seeing it was on a page depicting a man with overblown muscles flexing. The two older men couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight that left the pledge blushing.

“No worries man, glad you found a book to enjoy. Let’s finish up the search first, and then you can enjoy your book when we get back to the house.” Michael said with a good natured laugh, waiting till Jason closed the book and placed it among the boxes for the brothers to take back with them. With that out of the way. The trio resumed their search for the study material their fellow brothers needed for their course. It didn’t take long before they found the remaining books, albeit not in the greatest state with some pages loose from the spine of the books.

“Okay, we’re all set. You guys got the stuff you needed too?” Michael asked as he and Douglas lifted up the boxes loaded with the books they scoured for. Jason nodded as he carried a smaller box, glancing at the top book that held his interest.

‘Transformation Majicks’

The title ran through Jason’s mind, bringing up images of the art he caught glimpses of. Loading up the car with his fellow brothers, Jason thought of how he’d be spending time really exploring the book in private.

After returning to the frat house and distributing the books, receiving a chorus of cheers from the other frat brothers, Jason grabbed the book he found before making a beeline straight for his room. Locking the door behind him, Jason went to his desk, flickering on the lamp before opening up the book. Across the pages were depictions of immense sized men, though every illustration was without a face, their bodies were immense when compared to average sized men. One drawing showed a huge hulk with a wrecking ball gut lifting cars as if they were light weights. The next page of doodles showed two blob-like entities he assumed with fat filled men pressing up against one another, their bellies fighting for space on the page.
