Aired directly before Who Shot Mr. Burns Part 2, we explore this parody of America's Most Wanted which is a lovely time capsule for this point in time! Plus, some Simpsons secrets will be revealed!

Hey they specifically bring up the Homer looking like Krusty. Why would they have had homer dressed that way if it wasn’t an Easter egg or to throw people off.

2020-05-14 03:00:37 +0000 UTCComing in late to this, but Bob Bain is a real person. He's mainly a producer, does work on a lot of award shows. I remember him cause he name popped up at the end of nearly every Kids Choice Awards i watched as a kid. Great Stuff!

I was totally obsessed with trying to solve the mystery and this was something I watched several times over. Still didn't guess Maggie though. ^_^ On the note of original versions of scenes, I believe you get to see the billionaire who adopts Burns in this version but in the original episode he's only shown in shadow. I could be wrong but I don't think so... Finally, the UK airing had no "serious moment" part (since that would have been unpaid advertising... or because the channel was Sky 1, not Fox). Finally-finally, the airing on Sky had the voice-over announcer thanking the host for his investigation into the Burns case, in kind of a mock sincere fashion. This extended the weird parody nature even further... or maybe they were trying to make up for editing out the plug for his show. Anyway, thanks again for the great content. ^_^
