I don't know I feel like Leonard was being unreasonable. While it is his decision there is a morality question when it comes to the decision he makes. I just imagine having the opportunity to visit a magnificent place that represents so much to me, and that id dreamed of going for years and then having someone going in my place for some nice scenery and some Rosti. Something like that would really sting. Plus I think if you agreed to do something you should do it and to go back on your word like that is a scummy thing to do in my opinion.

The obvious solution, that you pointed out immediately always got me too. By the time Sheldon was being... well, Sheldon, I agreed with Leonard that I'd rather go alone, and the temper tantrums shouldn't be rewarded. This is Sheldon's dream though. Take Penny, but tell Sheldon if he wants to go, buy his own ticket, and he can take him on the sciency outings, and when they aren't there, he can be with Penny. Easy Peasy. Sheldon could have just as easily gotten Penny sick, except he is a germaphobe. More likely for Penny to have picked something up than Sheldon. Thanks!!! Great reaction as always!!!
