Makes sense! Live action remakes do largely feel unnecessary. I was planning on watching the animations but this came along so I just went along with it

2025-08-04 02:20:00 +0000 UTCSo I'm pretty mad with this movie, and especially with the fact that people are loving it so much after years of complaining about the Disney "soulless cash-grabbing" live-action remakes, when this one is less innovative than ANY of them. So I guess people didn't actually have a problem with the lack of imagination or the fact that these movies are made with the only goal of making a profit; their actual problem was with things getting CHANGED, which I find quite annoying. Anyway, if this remake coming out is what it took for you to react to HTTYD (because reacting to this and reacting to the original would have been pretty much the same), then I'm happy it exists. Your reaction was definitely the best thing that came out of this movie for me. A couple little notes: - Stoick's helmet is made from his wife's breast plate's other half; his gesture when talking about it indicates it. - Gobber knew Toothless was a Night Fury without having ever seen one because of the kind of fire they shoot.
