I usually watch with the subtitles on, so I got spoiled early on about what Sparklepuff was saying. It's supposed to be "blood of child". I was like "yeah, sounds like something an ominous butterfly-being would say!" and wrote it off as a meaninglessly creepy thing lol. As for the actual spell, I agree with you that Aaravos had likely already permanently resurrected Viren. I also saw a theory made by other fans saying that the blood of child thing was actually a spell to make Aaravos possess Sparklepuff (so he can then orchestrate something to free his real body), so Aaravos told a lie? That would make sense, too. I'm also chuckling about how a mushroom mage healed Zubeia, because now all I can picture is her explaining to the "Dragang" that she got better because she got high.
