2023-03-07 07:52:01 +0000 UTCNow you know why Garnet was so happy to see Steven and Connie fuse! Also, fun fact: Rebecca Sugar, creator of SU, worked on Adventure Time before pitching her series. You will find that a lot of story driven cartoons were made by people who worked on AT, and going back a little more, they were also people who worked on a cartoon called Flapjack. This is not a spoiler but one thing that TA and SU have in common is that they are storyboard-driven. Meaning the storyboarders have a lot of weight on the story and art style of their shots, and while a lot of people criticize the series because of this, I think it gives it this 'made-with-love' feel.
