Four Drones Posing Obediently And Not Being Very Productive At All

Hello, cutie drones. Hex here.

What can I say? Here's a set of drones being drones. Sometimes standing perfectly to attention, sometimes looking so powerful in their looming posture.

Sometimes messing around and getting up to absolutely no good.

These sets were really interesting to take, though a lot of the direction for them was out of my hands. I was fully dressed up the entire time, waiting for equipment to be set up or for drones to get dressed, and it was a good reminder of how just standing and waiting in fully body rubber with no face and no identity can help your mind to just... switch off. Running idle processes as you await the next scene.

Possibly the most obvious difference in this set is the sudden switch in quality. The first half you can see here was taken for fun on a phone. The second was shot on a DSLR in raw. It really shows the difference, and is somewhat of a wake up call for me as it really showed me all the incorrect ways that I've been using my camera. I'm really looking forward to the coming months, as I'm about to get regalur access to a lot of pretty high-end photographic equipment, which is vastly more powerful than the entry-level camera I've been using up until now. it's partly why i'm so confidently in proclaiming that this year is going to be the year for video on the HexCorp Patreon, as we're going to be able to take shots from multiple different angles at the same time. Watch this space, I am so incredibly excited.

Also sorry, I started to ramble a bit there.

I should a massive thank you to the Scottish Drone Collective (which is what I cheekily call them). I met ToyDolly and Boundinlatex at Rubber Cult years ago with 0024 and we all really got along, so it was lovely to get to meet back up and create all of these sets together! I'm incredibly thankful for this community and all who create within it, it's forever a delight getting to make within this space.
