Alternate?

I think part of Bisky’s speech was the Hunter or the Nen user spirit. like Morel told Killua when they first arrived in NGL. They’re disappointed in him for lacking a nen users spirit which is mostly caused by his assassin background. With the stakes as high as they are, Killua can’t go in there with his current state of mind. Because he won’t be a reliable comrade. Not only that, but he weakens himself by limiting his options. Bisky wants him to overcome this so that when the time comes, he can make a decisions he’s proud of. You have to be able to fight to Win. That’s how I see it anyway.

Yeah not the best example. Maybe closer is certain power moves in Tekken that can be canceled

In an alternate ending the world ends, Bisky remains cute

The thing about falcon punch is it’s on a set timer and there aren’t 3 different forms of it. It seems like you may have got it, but Gon’s Jajanken didn’t land. If it did, knuckle would’ve been lights out.

Bisky is really great because she's incredibly powerful and could likely do a lot more good(and she does for Gon and Killua) but she's also very selfish, she wouldn't do anything that'd make her buff image public because hates it, not even volunteer to fight extremely dangerous humanoid ants who threaten the world. It's stuff like this that make HxH characters so awesome, they're all very human and so distinct with their own goals and motivations no matter how small or big.

One of my favoutie scenes in the show/manga. It has been somewhat building up to this revelation, Killua has always played it safe and Gon has always risked everything. The timing of this harsh truth makes it perfect. HxH is one of the few shows that will punish the protagonist for their "never give up, no matter the odds" attitude; Gon was willing to have his legs cut off, his friend's hands destroyed and his arm blown off for partly minor moral victories and he always got away with it. The fact that this scene of Bisky asking Killua to be more like Gon and risk fights that seem impossible comes right after Kite (allegedly?) dying due to being reckless enough to train Gon and Killua instead of telling them to get the hell out just seems so perfectly wrong.

Did the end imply that Killua's brother has used some technique to sort-of hypnotize him and make him retreat instead of risk dying?

It really does hurt most when people who clearly care for you offer unfiltered criticism. Whether what Bisky was saying is true or not, the fact that she believes it gives extra weight to it. I didn't notice the slight visual cues to Killua's reactions in my first watch-through, and can't really discuss them without spoilers, but there is foreshadowing here for what might later seem like a deus ex machina.

Bisky is a for sure gorilla warrior

7:00 you just perfectly described the current state of online poker lol. Also a well timed falcon punch is a timeless edgeguarding strategy
