Thank you :D :D :D

The one good thing is since Spider-Man has been like all multiverse lately it’s really easy to just accept that this is just another alternate reality Spider-Man as the character himself points out.

Mortis

Ya but he also plays Mr. Krabs so the man has range!

"stupid pain I wish I could punch it" lmao ty A Goodwin TV you seriously have been such a positive influence on my life. I appreciate all your insight. god that sounds so fucking sarcastic. I mean it. I was so excited for you to upload this episode. yet when you did I had nothing to say. I just want you to know that I appreciate you and everything you do. It's comforting to know that someone else feels similarly to the way that I do. It's something I didn't know that I needed until after... experiencing it. ty bro frfr

That zombie world is a nod to the walking dead by the same comic creator. Marks whole realising the path he's on seems impressively self aware but I think that awareness is something that has built up for this version of him specifically because he has refused to do those things so much before. That built that code up so strongly for him as a moral center. And his refusal of the viltrumites has allowed him to witness what others with his power who don't care about having that self control are capable of. It has all been building up to this realization.

The guy is obviously stupid. Assuming that 50% of the universes have Good_Invincible, and 50% Bad_Invincible, there're also 50% of universes with Bad_Armstrong as well. Meaning that the Universes with Bad_Invincible and Good_Armstrong in them are only ~25%. What a cherry-picker. I believe Mark has caused other deaths in the past before, no? Aliens? The robot-grafted guys? Why is it different leaving them stranded in space, for example, to killing someone with his hands other than optics? "If these walls could talk" With how many times parts have been blown and replaced, this could be like Theseus' ship. So, these walls would not know that much, lol.

In the comics there are many reasons as to why Mark turns out bad in alternate universes, its not always just because he is closer to Omni-Man like you theorized. But to go into details would bring spoilers for future seasons...

I actually like the scene with Mark and Eve before the credits role. The line "you don't deserve this" is stated twice almost as though it has a double meaning. On one hand, the obvious thing is Mark doesn't deserve the pain and suffering he's experienced, but on the other hand, I also think he himself is struggling to feel that he deserves any happiness. We know he's been wrestling with the idea that he's becoming the worst parts of his father. Mark killing Angstrom probably feels to some degree, for him, like the nail in the coffin. He maybe feels he doesn't deserve Eve's compassion in this moment, but I like that he leans into her as though he is at least understanding the fact that she's just trying to show that she cares.

If you think thats the only character that Grey has been voicing in this show then boy do I have news for you...

madgod

So he just had being hateful pre-built in to his character... (There is no humanity in Vil-tram-se?) I also learned today or maybe relearned that monster girl is voiced by Azula.

Alex G

Oh shit, that’s funny

Big Fuze

I just realized General Krieg is voiced by the same guy as Long Feng the Dai Li guy from ATLA.

Nicholas Bell

If I'm remembering right, the comic blatantly has him say "I thought you were stronger... I thought I was stronger..."

Sunny

I like to think that the line “I thought you were stronger”, immediately after he killed angstrom, mark was both talking to angstrom and himself. Mark has been in a constant battle with himself that he is not his father but there are a ton of similarities between marks killing of angstrom and Nolan’s beat down of his son. Both are bloody ground and pounds, both are done in anger, both have shots similar to each other with the camera looking up at the attacker, both leave a bloody crater, both of the attackers look at their blood soaked hands as the realization washes over them, and both breakdown at the end. So “I thought you were stronger” could be mark saying to himself I thought you were strong enough to not let something like this even come close to happening.

Big Fuze

Ah so it WAS a reference, figured it had to be. The Spiderman thing was great and lost nothing from having to "mask" the IP, maybe even somewhat more enjoyable for having to make Prof. Octopus happen

Alex G

So the sniper rifle that you paused on was from Fortnite, which is great because there's plenty of Invincible skins in that game now. And the fake spiderman was really spiderman in the comics, but Sony is allergic to allowing other people to have fun with spiderman on screen. They did get one of the spiderman voice actors though which is great, I don't remember which show he was from

Sunny

It's hard to believe anyone is actually gone for good in this show. Except Mark's home invader, he's probably gone forever.

Alex G

It does kinda ruin the emotional moment but with cloning powers it’s literally the smartest thing to do, so I don’t really mind

Big Fuze

If I had a nickel for every character with clones this year to always ensure their real self is far removed from the action, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice.
