Basically he says anyone can become him in one bad day as long as it's bad enough. Anyone is one bad day away from going crazy and evil. Makes sense with the super hero parallels for this show of course.

2024-09-03 12:53:15 +0000 UTCIt’s interesting, in a vacuum, AFO chasing OFA aka his little brother is by itself a noble pursuit, we see it in a ton of media, the wayward siblings split by time. With one chasing that connection that was lost. I truly believe that AFO loves his little brother (but def not the other users I think he sees them as meddling with his and his brother perfect power) AFO got a taste of power and become drunk while his brother was weak and I bet he forced that quirk onto his brother betting that once his brother got the same taste he would also become gluttonous for power

2024-09-03 02:57:31 +0000 UTCI also disagree (that or we are talking about different parts of the story). even if you are talking about the other parts i think you are, i still think it was done totally fine. it can be irritating in the weekly format but can be binged just fine. i’m guessing you are either talking about the section just before or just after what i am referring to because i physically cannot see any real flaws in that section.

I love MHA, like, a lot, but I believe that Horikoshi's declining health did a number on the pacing and story telling of the manga. I wish more of the story was fleshed out because there was a lot more to be said and thoroughly explored, but it can't be helped. I will say, my love of the adaptation might sway my feelings when I see key parts storyboarded and animated. I have a big list of complaints to air when it finishes, but regardless, I'll always treasure this story.

Which he’s viewing like a Gearshift in a car. Which is basically how the power works mechanically. Consider this the action climax this current phase of the war… but in the next few episodes events will take a turn again.
