After a lot of thinking over the weekend, I realized that what's frustrating me with art right now is that I don't feel like my current skillset matches the ideas I have -- I know what I want to draw, but I'm unable to achieve it in a way that satisfies me.
In order to get there, I'd like to spend more time studying and practicing. I want a sharper understanding of art fundamentals, of the things I love about different artists and art styles, and a stronger mental library to build ideas from.
And I figured, as long as I'm doing these studies, I might as well share them on here. It might be a bit embarrassing sometimes, especially when I get into material I'm less familiar with, but I hope you'll bear with me until I get this out of my system OR (hopefully) improve as an artist. 🙏
(I'll still get colored/finished stuff done, too, I promise)
