Brief Explainer

Hi folks!

Okay, so this post is one aimed at explaining how things work around here, since Patreon isn't always the easiest site to navigate. Basically, I'll list the available tiers, their benefits, and the normal monthly schedule I work to. The basic stuff! If you have any questions or whatnot, always feel free to send me a message to ask directly!

So, with that all said, let's begin.

Tiers

There are currently a few tiers available - this is a little out of date, so I'll be working on fixing it up over October. If you're seeing this in November, good lord I've fallen behind.

Star Patrons

This tier is for people who want to show basic support and to encourage me to write, without really having the money or interest in higher tiers. There's no real rewards for it, but it's super appreciated and really does help me keep writing!

Power Patron - Reader Tier

This tier is for people interested in reading and reviewing my work before it goes public. Aside from very special circumstances, everything I write and intend to publish will be posted up here at least one month before I put it up anywhere else (at the moment, it's actually quite a lot more than a month). I feel pretty strongly about this rule, and I will always endeavor to stick to it.

Mega Patrons - Request Tier

This tier is for people who are interested in submitting a prompt for me to write once a month (typically on the first Wednesday of the month), which will end up as a short story of anything from a couple of hundred words to a couple of thousand, written over the next few weeks. Check them out under the 'shorts' tag, people seem to like 'em!

Schedule

So, with all that aside, here's my usual monthly schedule. I put updates out every Wednesday, here and on any other sites I'm posting my works to, at 6pm GMT, so you can generally predict when my new stories are about to hit.

Wednesday 1: Story and Shorts Requests open

Wednesday 2: Story and Shorts Requests close

Wednesday 3: Shorts

Wednesday 4: Story

Wednesday 5: Story

Adjust as needed for however many Wednesdays there are in the current month!

I hope this helps explain how things work around here. Thanks for paying a visit, folks - I hope you find something you enjoy.

Comments

The Eraser (and other games when I work on them) has gotten a bit jumbled thanks to RL stuff. In theory it's supposed to go out on the third update of the month as well, and in the future that's a schedule I plan to return to - it's just not working out at the moment thanks to life being itself.

Where does the Eraser release fit into this?
