Last minute Christmas presents...
Added 2020-12-24 08:46:53 +0000 UTCI recorded this yesterday as some kind of demo reel for my recording method being able to capture anything making noise in this store.
To be honest, I am not satisfied with the result listening to it today. Especially by listening to the headphone the captured sound differs quite a bit. I need to work more on the consistency of my mic-placement which seems the most crucial variable here. But due to all the videos I did lately my ears are already a bit irritated from the microphones and I need to let them recover before starting to rape them again.

2020-12-28 23:55:55 +0000 UTCDer Boom scheint mittlerweile eh ausverkauft zu sein, zumindest wird er grad bei Amazon nicht mehr gelistet... Wie tief spielt er eigentlich herab? Bei Anker steht, dass er bis 60Hz spielt. Viele Reviewer berichten jedoch von einem „sehr tiefen Bass“...

2020-12-25 12:50:27 +0000 UTCHabe mir selber eine Einstellung am EQ gebastelt. Von den vorgefertigten empfand ich die mit der Höhenanhebung meistens am besten. Ich habe auch im leisen Zustand Bass dazu genommen. Finde aber nicht das es wesentlich besser wird. Für das Geld ist er trotzdem gut. Schade ist eben der Klang wenn es so nebenbei am Schreibtisch ect. läuft und ich finde, es fehlt bei längerem hören eine gewisse Leichtigkeit, was den Sound etwas Langweilig macht. Aber bin ja auch seit einigen Tagen von meinen Minirigs verwöhnt.

2020-12-25 10:31:46 +0000 UTCAlso der Soundcore Boom ist für leise Hintergrundmusik bisher nicht zu gebrauchen. Erst ab 20% entfaltet er dann sein vollen Klangvolumen, aber nun er ist ja auch als Outdoor Lautsprecher gedacht. Vielleicht gibt es da ja auch noch seitens Anker ein Update. Wünsche frohe Weihnachten.

2020-12-24 10:58:23 +0000 UTCThe Aftershokz headphones are not made for a great music experience but trying to be the best alternativ to in-ear headphones, while not having to block your ear canal, most people use em for listning to podcast or audio books, while still being to hear what's going on around them. I my self enjoy using em while running, even though the music experience is not good, I mostly prefer not having my ear canal blocked and getting the natural ambient sound. Still pretty pricey indeed but it's a good product if you buy them for the right reasons. ....also I heard bigger running races in the UK don't allow runners to block their ear canal, but the ear conducting headphones are allowed. ....and yeah the Anker Motion Boom seems like a killer speaker especially at this price point - just the handle is not in most peoples taste 😆 Merry Christmas to all and a happy New Year.
