The whole scene is so richly portrayed, and it's openly and unashamedly about the sex without being *just* about the sex... I promised I'd come back when I found words, so here I am. Let's start with the obvious. This is fabulously sexy art, believable, tender and oh so hot. Marccus is an amazing artist and his rendering of anatomy is breathtaking. In this piece in particular, I have found a newly-minted appreciation for Kyle's legs. But Marccus didn't stop at the sexiness, there are so many details that catch your eye, like the glow of Kyle's flames, the overhead lights reflected on the windows, the panel behind Deacon, and so much more.

Hbbbbchih...chhrrrtt-kkgggttt...OOH! WUH--duh-gurgle-GUH. HOO-WAH-DADDY! *ahem* Sorry, I was possessed by Lou Costello for a moment, but I'm back again. This painting is GORGEOUS! It is graphic but very tasteful. Deacon and Kyle are rendered to loving perfection and if I might add, they have all the right...proportions. Color me odd but my eye is continually drawn to the panel behind Deacon's head. The play of light from Kyle's hand and the detail is exquisite. The golden glow gives the entire portrait a warm, soft glow that accentuates the composition, in addition to the emotion. It has a comic look but the image is so well rendered that I feel like I can reach out and touch them. Not that I thought out it. Not that I will admit to--is it getting warm in here?

Well, a lot of the discovery came together while we worked on the thumbs together, but this was my initial note to Marccus: "For this piece, I'd want to see Kyle "on top", at least metaphorically. He'd still have his sweet nature, but I'd like to see him being the one enthusiastically making this happen. (And enthusiastic consent between the partners is the vibe I'll look for in all my pairings.) As a creator, I like to show that gay people have more than just anal sex -- while that can be satisfying, I think there's a lot more to "real sex" than just that. I like to show frottage because it allows the characters to be face-to-face, but I'm open to whatever you think would be fun, so long as it still felt tasteful. Now, of course, Deacon is a powerful android and Kyle has fire powers that we've established can be triggered during sex. If you were feeling ambitious, we could add those elements in. For example, Kyle could be spewing fire from a hand which Deacon is deflecting with an energy field from his own hand or around his whole body. Or maybe Deacon's arm gets super-heated and we see some of his super-strong metallic skeleton. Or maybe while they are messing around, Kyle is helping to repair Deacon by sautering some wires in an open panel of Deacon's arm with a precise jet of flame extended from his finger. Not sure if you'd be up for showing off their super-powered natures, but it'd sure look cool if we could pull it off. :) They could be in a futuristic computer lab, or in Kyle's messy bedroom, or on a soft pad in a spaceship's observation deck with a big, curved window looking out into space with a black hole or a million stars. (I kinda like that last idea.) The main event, though, is the pairing, so you should choose a background that would be fun for you to draw."

This is AMAZING. I love the details. The nebula in particular looks fantastic. And don't get me started on the bodies, they are gorgeous and hot (and that hint of hair on Kyle... yum!).

Gorgeous! I love the little details, like how the carpet matches the drapes, the way the glow of the fire competes with the glow from the electronics, and all of that reflects on the mattress and walls, and OMG even how the ceiling lights are partially reflected in the windows, and how the light on the side of the bed glows through the sheet... So much awesome attention to details, and especially that there's so much detail in the surroundings instead of only focusing on the couple, that makes this extra special, for me. Absolutely love it.

Very lovely piece of work! Nicely detailed, the nebula is gorgeous. I'm probably one of the only ones who DOESN'T like the smattering of hairs on Kyle, though, lol. To each their own, though, and the piece is gorgeous regardless!
